I'll be sending the amended form to cic canada, but by that time my file would have reached the local vo. So should I first contact them in the email explaining this?

You will have to send it to your local VO not CIO-Sydney . They will respond to your email query in 35-45 days time span, you can try emailing them.

Has anyone done any study in order to determine if CIC is picking up the pace and actually processing(charging) more days than the ones that go by as in for example: they are processing 2 dates (22/23 July) in a single day in November therefore causing them to be able to actually diminish the time between app received and cc charged?

Any comments? What have you guys been observing on the matter?

I submitted my ECA along with my APP. ECA verification took 6 months.

I am still surprised on the delay. I have started preparing new APP.

Do you think I should wait.

Don't proceed with new app. In case the other one was rected (which I am sure is not the case), you have got to make amendments as per CIC explanation letter to avoid trouble. I am sure it's your ECA that is slowing down the process.

My name is sumit and I am from India but i am currently studying in Canada since Sep 2014. Can I apply for PR under FSW category from Canada itself ? (CIO-Sydney visa office)

Yes, there is definitely a pick up in speed at CIC.The wait time between Fee Charge and PER has reduced drastically. There is also a downward trend in CC charge time but it is not as apparent. Current numbers are about 110 days from App Received date for Fee charge and about 10 days from Fee Charge to PER.

All NOCs starting with 0 take substantially more time to process at CIO stage compares to other occupations. See the SS to confirm this pattern.

It seems that my calculations turned out to be correct and CIO will be doing PERs for a while. New chargings will likely take place next week when they clear the PER backlog.

Hello everyone. I'm waiting for my PER since I was charged through my CC last November 3 2014. App was received on July 17 2014. If I (hopefully) received PER, is that a big chance I can pass the FSW program?Thank you for the kind answers!
