Translations can be obtained as many times as we want.
Already mentioned in my quote "not to leave any scope for rejection" . I submitted original translation along with original translator affidavit.

Well, hopefully that's a good thing. May be more companies will come to Alberta because there's more resources there.

Also, hopefully some of us will start our own companies, and increase employment rate.

What about Edmonton ?it is in alberta what is scope of mechanical engineer over there?

Hello everyone,

Just now i called CIO call center and please make a note that the menu options has been changed.

Finally i got to connect to the agent but he couldn't provide me status of my application as it is FSW.

He advised me to send an email to CIO which i have already done...

NOC is 2173, App. Received date: 15 july

No CC charge yet......

No Rejected application...

I have seen applications getting charged with same NOC for applicants of third week of july

Am seriously worried now...Guys please help me to find my application status

i cannot bear this uncertainty :-\ :-\ :-\

My file received on 15thSept2014 and applied under NOC 2173. How fair chance of getting file number in 1000 cap this year or should it be in next year? Can anyone suggest on this? No update on official site for no. application completed.

PER Received!!!

One thing I wanted to share (already discussed long back):
My Duties letter was not like it should be. The old employer from India just wrote basic things like testing, analysis, bug report etc. It matched NOC 2173 but wasn't descriptive at all. Just 5 lines. haha..i was worried about it.

My application wouldn't have been possible without this group!! Dedicating it to everyone!! Today is Gurunanak Jayanti (a festival in India) and feels like God's gift!! Very happy

Guys, stop calling that number. It is a waste of money and time. They don't have details related to applications at CIO stage.

I think its not FORCED CHARGING AUTHORITY

Its more like SOVEREIGN charging authority... actually CC channel companies (i.e. VISA & MASTER) have SAFE LIST of merchants for which beneficiary of fraudulent usage can be directly caught e.g. International test centers (ACCA, CFA etc). This list is usually used to differentiate between suspicious transactions and genuine transaction of high volume (based on my discussion with CC company on the matter 7-8 years ago, don't know if things have changed now). I think that SAFE LIST also works in case of lost card. Otherwise, FORCE CHARGING AUTHORITY wud have also worked in case of BREACH of LIMIT or BLOCKED cards (unethical practice as rightly pointed out by u).

+1 for raising the issue of ethics.

I actually not fully understanding it. Many people lost the cards and CIO fail to charge it. But for IT-Engineer, they did it successfully even though it was blocked by the bank.

My hunch, CIO probably understood it is intentional blockage and this is why it resorted unusual forced method with some high level permission. Or the Bank could miss to block it. It is really weird case. ??? ???

Just an update. I finally got a response to the email I sent CIO on Sep 19 about the additional document I sent to attach to my application. They responded that my application was returned as incomplete (which I already know) and that they received my additional document and will be retaining it. Now why would they retain my original document if my application was returned as incomplete? I don't understand the logic to that.
