Just an update. I finally got a response to the email I sent CIO on Sep 19 about the additional document I sent to attach to my application. They responded that my application was returned as incomplete (which I already know) and that they received my additional document and will be retaining it. Now why would they retain my original document if my application was returned as incomplete? I don't understand the logic to that.

Their operations instructions don't require them to send back stuff which is not part of the original application.

Thank you

Got it in 10 business days (by USPS-mail).
They promptly called my home that it was approved.
Also DO specify in the form the purpose for the PCC/. They need to know "why you need the PCC".

RunninGrace .. this is for you !!!
Congratulations man .... I heard you got PER .... Gurpurab te PER ... what an auspicious day /.... !! COngrats once again man !!

I guess am just some heck of a lucky guy, these CIC ladies just talk to me, i spoke to them again about 40 minutes ago, coincidentally the lady whom i spoke to yesterday was the same today, she said sir i believe we spoke yesterday, '' you application is in process'' i said i just wanted to clarify that it wasnt returned yet. she said as of right now it is not returned the documents you submitted were alright if there had been a problem it would have been sent back by now and the fact that its in our system? means its been processed, you eligibility will now be checked against the NOC you applied for, then you will receive communication.

to everyone else, just keep the faith alive, pray like your life depended on it. you i mean you reading this and waiting for good news will smile insha Allah. have a good evening or night to everyone.

Hello everyone,

Just now i called CIO call center and please make a note that the menu options has been changed.

Finally i got to connect to the agent but he couldn't provide me status of my application as it is FSW.

He advised me to send an email to CIO which i have already done...

NOC is 2173, App. Received date: 15 july

No CC charge yet......

No Rejected application...

I have seen applications getting charged with same NOC for applicants of third week of july

Am seriously worried now...Guys please help me to find my application status

i cannot bear this uncertainty :( :( :( :( :( :-\ :-\ :-\

Dear friends,

I am thinking of sending an e-mail to CIO now, so once they answer a month and half or even 2 months it is not going to be so late for me to resend an application if the sent one is rejected.

My question is what is the email address, I have to send to and what are the information about myself as a principal applicant that I have to write in the email to match it to the application file.

Thanks

Amgad

Hi Seniors,

Can you please help me out? I'm a 11-Jul applicant who just received PER yesterday. My VO is SG.
I'm having slip disc and facing surgery. I'm not sure when AOR / MR will arrive, and if so will that be affected due to my surgery.
I'm supposed to recover fully in 3 months time, so should I wait to complete MR and then go for surgery? Will the outcome of my application be affected due to this sudden trauma.
From ss i see an avg of 80 days from PER to MR for SGVO, is it correct?

Thanks

Congrats for your PER.

Your medicals might take another 45 days to receive at your end. Even after that they give you some time to get your medicals completed. In my opinion, you can get your surgery done and by the time you go for medicals, you will have almost recovered.
Also I dont think, slip disc can be reason for rejection as it is fully recoverable, It does not pose threat to other canadians and also won't be a burden to the Canadian Medical system as you will recover in 3 months time.

Since this is a sensitive subject, request if you can take view of others as well.
