Hi to All,

If the experience reference letters are in English, do the copies of these letters have to be notarized?

Absolutely no need of notarisation.

I think its not FORCED CHARGING AUTHORITY

Its more like SOVEREIGN charging authority... actually CC channel companies (i.e. VISA & MASTER) have SAFE LIST of merchants for which beneficiary of fraudulent usage can be directly caught e.g. International test centers (ACCA, CFA etc). This list is usually used to differentiate between suspicious transactions and genuine transaction of high volume (based on my discussion with CC company on the matter 7-8 years ago, don't know if things have changed now). I think that SAFE LIST also works in case of lost card. Otherwise, FORCE CHARGING AUTHORITY wud have also worked in case of BREACH of LIMIT or BLOCKED cards (unethical practice as rightly pointed out by u).

+1 for raising the issue of ethics.

Its still the same !! +1 to you !!

Hi Seniors,

Can you please help me out? I'm a 11-Jul applicant who just received PER yesterday. My VO is SG.
I'm having slip disc and facing surgery. I'm not sure when AOR / MR will arrive, and if so will that be affected due to my surgery.
I'm supposed to recover fully in 3 months time, so should I wait to complete MR and then go for surgery? Will the outcome of my application be affected due to this sudden trauma.
From ss i see an avg of 80 days from PER to MR for SGVO, is it correct?

Thanks

Re-posting .....Please please help
Hello everyone,

I'm a known diabetic (not disclosed to CIC) with micro albuminuria (since 6 months). Will my application be rejected?
should I declare to them that I'm a diabetic? My Hb a1c was 7.4 recently (last month ) but earlier one in march was 9.5 and some months earlier was 7.4......quite a fluctuating one Sad
But my liver function tests and creatinine levels are in well normal limits
Just wanted to know where do I stand?

Also, what are the tests they would conduct? should I declare that I'm a (Type 2) diabetic? I'm afraid looking into my results, they might think different
Got my MR 2days ago
thank you guys

If I were in your position, I would disclose everything. The doctor will certainly ask you whether you got diabetic, heart disease, blood pressure, major operations, etc etc. If you say NO and from the blood and urine test, if they found diabetics, it could lead into misrepresentation.

For your information, I have read many diabetics people went Canada successfully after disclosing those. So why risking it?

please update SS....

Received PER on 3rd Nov.

Link is not working.

I think as we are receiving PER emails for 11th July apps as per latest update.. and no June app PER in last few days...
Game for pending June apps is over?
We have also seen couple of updates in last few days on forum receiving their apps back.

comments/thoughts??

Do we really know the reason why the SNOW is WHITE ?

SNOW is made up of water
water has OXYGEN,
Oxygen is a gas,
GAS is used 4 cooking FOOD,
FOOD is source of VITAMINS,
WE get Vit-D from SUN,
SUN produces LIGHT,
LIGHT comes from bulbs,
Small BULBS are used to decorate CHRISTMAS tree,
CHRISTMAS means GIFTS,
GIFTS are given by SANTA,
SANTA lives in NORTH POLE,
NORTH POLE is the house of POLAR BEARS,
POLAR BEARS are WHITE..
That's why SNOW is WHITE...

LOLZ...

I'll make it shorter :)

SNOW is made up of water
WATER is colour less
COLOUR reminds me of WHITE..
That's why SNOW is WHITE...

Everybody wants to move into Albarta - I guess job market will become very competitive soon. ::) ::)

American newspaperman Horace Greeley famously said "go west, young man." That piece of 19th-century advice still applies when it comes to men and women, young and old, looking for work in 21st-century Canada.

No wonder people are moving to Alberta and Saskatchewan for better job prospects.
