Can someone guide me what is the probable date for completeness check.
And in how many days can one expect the application to be returned if its rejected.
I am 7th Aug applicant.

Completness check was completed till Aug 28th on Oct 30th 2014 So yours might be over by now

Some data for muching on, from our beloved SS:

1/11 - 01 PER's (Saturday)
2/11 - 00 PER's (Sunday)
3/11 - 07 PER's (Monday)
4/11 - 10 PER's (Tuesday)
Total - 18 PER's (4.5 PER's per day average)

Compared to October
1/10 - 27 PER's (Wednesday)
2/10 - 25 PER's (Thursday)
3/10 - 12 PER's (Friday)
4/10 - 12 PER's (Saturday)
Total - 76 PER's (19 PER's per day average)

While the overall trend has been improving, the monthly linear moving average of processing has dropped slightly. Prediction is December will slow down even more (as staff proceed on annual leaves, holiday season, snow-in's etc.) DAMN! I hope that many more PER's come this week and files get transferred to the sunny Local VO's so that Nov - Dec is not wasted... ;D ;D ;D

Any views from 2013 FSW folks? Seniors? Any statistics on the coming slow down? Or is it just my over-active imagination?? :'( :-X ???

Good morning brother. I need your opinion buddy. I recently applied for fsw.

I have 3 experiences..

1. Volunteer experience for about 10 months

2. Paid experience for 5 month

3. Paid experience for 4.2 years.


My question is.. I made a cover letter stating that I am only claiming points in my latest experience which is 4.2 years.... And the last 2 experience is a generic employment letter not the cic experience letter they are requiring.... Would that be ok?


Lastly, with regard to my volunteer experience.. My letter is telling my start date until present.... I am very anxious that there should be an end date to it... However, I am not claiming points for it . do you think I need to update it and send an additional letter to cio. My app received date is oct 7'

As long as you are claiming points only for the 4.2 years work experience and ref letters are perfect for this job, its fine.

Hi guys...... My CC got charged 1100CAD 10 minutes back.... I got out specially to inform everyone on the group..... My happiness is beyond par..... I couldn't tell anyone at work so got out to tell my wife and you guys...... What a relief....!!!

I don't know if my new payment form was added or not but I still got charged....! Yippee re!! . This is just awesome.... I was giving some training at work and got out and checked my phone.... I literally yelled YESSSSS in my team's sitting bay......!

Been an uphill ride with roller coasters here and there so I need a lot of +1s.... Show me some love!

As suggested yesterday, I had sent my additional documents to CIC (bachelors degree transcripts and Visa Stamp page of Passport) and it will reach by Monday 10th Nov hopefully. what should I do now in line of action. my application reached on 3rd Sept do u think its too late for these documents or I still have a chance.

ECAS getting updated is an unsure as updation of CIC CAPs . ECAS for few people has got updated before PER and for some people after PER. Keep checking status.

I have received and sent MR and RPRF but my E-CAS only has "Application received on ..."
