I mistakenly sent my application to P.O Box address that reached there on 11th Sep 2014, and this act of mine kept me depressed for ages. However to get an inquiry about the issue, I emailed Sydney office asking what could be done to have an idea about my application that whether that was received by the right hand or lost somewhere. I received their reply last week that looks like this:

------------------------------------------------
Good morning:

As of the date of this email, I can find no record of your application in our database. It may be in the queue for initial processing. You may wish to submit a status inquiry in 2-3 weeks, and a further search can be conducted.

Thank you,

Please everyone on the forum, guide me what might be the possibilities are and what best should I do. Anxiously waiting to get proper and off course best solution to the problem.
Regards, Ibrahim

Just an update for people who are waiting for their US PCC.

They are currently processing 11th Aug applications. Based on what I gathered from multiple follow ups, they are going very slow as it took them around 4-5 days just to process applications for 2 days.

Hello All,

CIC received my application on 30-Aug and my original application did not include the PCC.
My query is :-
1. Should I get a head start on my PCC(will need one from India and US) or should I wait to receive a PER and then work on acquiring a PCC?
2. How much time are you given to submit your PCC after you receive a PER(hopefully I get one soon :))
3. Any clue, how much time does it take for a PCC from USA?
4. The fingerprinting expense is pretty expensive (Rs.4500 per person) and hence a bit apprehensive about getting started with the US PCC without a PER in hand. Can someone suggest a fingerprinting vendor in Pune who charges reasonably less ?

Thanks for your responses !

Dear, you will get PER email soon, once your case is transferred @ VO, and at VO stage you need to update them with a new member in you family.
But looking to your CC date - it seems by another week, you will get PER,
approx 45-55 days for MR, which is the stage at VO, you need to inform them atleast by a cover letter or so. as 5-6 months seems little far.

Thats really good news that CIC has moved on to 21st July apps.... I have a feeling that this week will be about CC charges and next week all about PERs...

Most recent CC charge: 21st July
Most recent PER date: 9th July

generally the gap has been about 7-8 calendar days off late... but now its 12 days ... maybe they will start pushing the pedal on PER in the coming days ....

ya it seeems ,,,,, as CIC processed two days applications for CC charges in one single day ,,,,that is 18th (Friday) and 21st (Monday) ,,,,,,,

+1 for CIC :)

Yes, NDVO accepts both ways: Online and DD

Link to pay it online:

1) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?lob=proc&cat=perm
2) Click on the button: Pay my fees online
3) this page will come : https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en aND CLICK ON continue button
4) Then comes, Disclaimer page and check the checkbox and continue
5) Then select : IMMIGRATION Link and then select : Right of Permanent Resident Fee link
6) pay the fees

Lord Krishna bless us all!!
Thanks a lot Dhanu.

Do you know anyone who has done through this method ? i.e. online payment of RPRF for Delhi visa office applications.

1. Yes, you should start now
2. The time is calculated once you receive the Medical request. It is 45 days from the day you receive medical and RPRF request
3. With the current processing time , you can consider 16 weeks once your application has reached FBI. For me its already 12 weeks and my application is still in process. And then it will take 10-15 days for mail to reach you.
4. Yes it is expensive as paid 3500 in Delhi. But if ur CC is charged then proceed with US PCC as it will take lot of time. I had to ask for extension from NDVO to submit my US PCC
