Yes, start working on PCC straightaway and don't wait for VO request.

sorry I have still not reached to this leavel...but just out of curiosity...
Online payment goes via foreign currency (converted to INR + bank charges for the currency conversion charges)
while for DD its a simple and fixed INR amount....

so in case if the currency rate is not favourable then paying via DD would be suitable...

Ofcourse paying via DD would add some days to the process.....

once again sorry...I am writing this post only from the vague information on top of my head,,,,,may be I am wrong....
