Hi guys,

This is regarding FBI fingerprinting process...
Where does it say that FP has to be done by police officials?
This is what written on FBI site "If possible, have your fingerprints taken by a fingerprinting technician. This service may be available at a law enforcement agency."
So, is it okay if we buy a stamp pad and do it ourself?? (of course, with care and making sure it is clear and legible according to the guidelines provided)

Has anybody done that?

Hello! What is the latest charge date for NOC 2173? I have no accrss to the spreadsheet

My international driving license was valid for 1 year. Then I got my G1 Canadian driving license one week after being in Canada. I also got my full G Canadian driving license earlier this year.

Note: Without an international driver license, I would have been allowed to use my drivers license from my home country for only 3 months in Canada.

If i am not wrong driving license from home country works for only 60 days and international driving license works for 1 year. If we have one year experience of driving from home country, we can directly get G license....

Dear Forum Friends

Today I happened to check my sugar levels prior to doing my FSW medicals..Levels were 85 and 120 fasting & PP which is normal

But My HBA1C level is about 7.3. So my family phsycian suggested that i might have had a higher sugar level during last few months
but currently it is normal. Doctor said that it a pre-diabetic case ..... I was shocked and feeling worried now

Has anyone of you had similar experience? Is it a good idea not to mention it in Medical test. Can anyone advise what tests exactly they will perform?

Really worried about during the medical tests.....What will happen if they discover high H1Ac levels more than 6.5 ......

Need more help from your friends...I am planning to do medicals by November end 2014 as i need to submit all documents by 13-Dec-2014

Really worried about my average H1 ac level...What does one need to do to bring lower H1ac levels?Huh?

Awaiting for your reply....

Limit of PM's depends on what level member you are.

Friends, help me with a clarification. I got medical request along with i am also asked to submit proof of settlement funds again for around $18,000. I have all my money in check in account for $20,000 and only $1000
in savings account. would this be fine?. do we need to have money in savings account or we can show funds from checkin account also. I did the same way when i submitted my application on May 7th. I am not sure why they have asked for proof of funds again.

My details:
App reach date : May 7th 2014
PER : Aug 11th 2014
CPC-Ottawa
Medical request on : Nov 3rd along with request for proof of funds and RPRF fee request.

Thanks,
Vinay

India PCC will take at the most One to two weeks tops. Whereas UK PCC will take roughly around 20 days, although if you go for Premium they might be able to send you the PCC within 15 to 20 days max.

I got my PCC using Standard services in exact 19 days, so I would suggest that you can make it but its safe to go for premium service for UK PCC. Just a suggestion.

Hi Guys,

Please support.

I got my Medical and PCC request on 10 October, but my agent somehow forgot to send me an intimation mail.

Now, my medicals are done and received by CIC. But, I have initiated the PCC process now for India & UK.

And, ironically, my deadline is 24th November.

I am confused, whether should I wait for PCC ??
Or
Can I send the landing fee and remaining documents ??

Thanks in advance
Regards

Guys i have very good news for you all, after sometime of having the hesitation about the CAP updates and how it is being estimated and either for completeness check or CC charge or PER. i decided earlier last month to send an email to CIC asking about that specifically. here below the reply i got today

Dear Sir/Madam:

The website provides an estimate only of the applications included in the cap.

Until the application is checked for completeness, it cannot be confirmed as being received. Once it has been determined that the submission is complete, it is counted in the cap and the information is updated electronically. Due to high volumes of submissions, there is a lag between confirmation of receipt of a complete application and the electronic update of the cap count.
