can some please post the latest date for CC/DD charges and PER, Thank you.

It seems pretty random,....as there is no one officer doing CC charging/ dd charging.............every officer is allocated some sets of files.......and they work as per their style....and pace...

latest we have seen 18 july and 10 july cc being charged...

i am waiting for my turn like anything.....11 july app ...cc

Guys....need ur advise on few points. As my card has been charged now and I need to submit docs for my wife as I got married last month after I sent the docs to CC.....

1. when I need to send the docs to CC and what forms to I need to submit? 2 weeks after PER

2. My wife doesn't hv her birth certificate. ...Will affidavit or any other doc would work? Affidavit will work. You can add her 10th class marksheet/certificate where her full name, DoB, and one of her parent's name there.


3. Do I need to apply for fresh passports to get my wife's name in that and vice versa for my wife or old passports but valid would be fine? Valid passport will work. No change required.


Friends....plz provide with ur valuable info.....As I don't want to waste time and start arranging now....

Hi guys...... My CC got charged 1100CAD 10 minutes back.... I got out specially to inform everyone on the group..... My happiness is beyond par..... I couldn't tell anyone at work so got out to tell my wife and you guys...... What a relief....!!!

I don't know if my new payment form was added or not but I still got charged....! Yippee re!! . This is just awesome.... I was giving some training at work and got out and checked my phone.... I literally yelled YESSSSS in my team's sitting bay......!

Been an uphill ride with roller coasters here and there so I need a lot of +1s.... Show me some love!

Hi everyone! Haven't visited the forum for a long time. Congrats to all those getting good news and patience to those waiting. Yesterday, I finally received a letter from my local VO asking for police certificates and proof of funds. But no medical forms... Do you think it's ok or there is something suspicious about it?

I also got those request. If they suspect, what can you do. Provide again.

Yes you can do that and ask for an extension as CanOI mentioned it can work.

But still I believe that if you send the doc by end of tomorrow then there are chances that you can get the PCC within your time frame.

In case PCC is taking time, send the rest of the docs and RPRF to VO and ask VO to extend deadline for PCC. It may work.

Please suggest, that can I send the remaining documents and any acknowledgement / confirmation details for PCC. Will they work ??

Not sure of UK PCC.

For Indian PCC, Check with regional passport office. If your passport address and PCC location comes under the purview of the same passport office, then you can get PCC in 2-3 hours flat. If that happens, you can send all docs together with PCC and pay RPRF.

Else check for Police PCC and how long they take to issue. If process is completed in few days, send docs with PCC and pay RPRF.

In case PCC is taking time, send the rest of the docs and RPRF to VO and ask VO to extend deadline for PCC. It may work.

Friends, help me with a clarification on Proof of Funds. I got medical request along with i am also asked to submit proof of settlement funds again for around $18,000. I have all my money in check in account for $20,000 and only $1000 in savings account. would this be fine?. do we need to have money in savings account or we can show funds from checkin account also. I did the same way when i submitted my application on May 7th. I am not sure why they have asked for proof of funds again.

App reach date : May 7th 2014
PER : Aug 11th 2014
CPC-Ottawa
Medical request on : Nov 3rd along with request for proof of funds and RPRF fee request.

Bro, Zaydoov had sent an email to CIC to understand CAP and what applications are counted towards CAP.

CIC has replied saying that they consider completed apps towards CAP, giving hope here, that CAP is based on completeness check and not on PER.

1. Transcripts are not mandatory. Degrees are.
2. I am not sure on this. Do we have to send Visa copies ? Passport entries should suffice in my opinion for travel undertaken. Or have I got your question wrong ?

His question was about proof of admission for 1 year to the country of current residence. Technically he should have submitted all the visas and extensions that allow him to reside in his current country of residence. However I think this is not a fatal error. I think it is more for VO selection. If they want more information they'll ask about it. I don't think it is a basis for rejection.

Hello,

My initial application was returned on the grounds "insufficient evidence of work duties for primary NOC". In the returned application, CIC had written UCI in pencil on the Generic Application form. I have re-sent the application with a letter of my current duties/responsibilities from my employer. My questions are thus:-

1. I have mentioned the UCI on the new application, will it bypass/leapfrog the queue and give me some priority/leverage.

2. I am NOC 2171 and want to know my chances as I hope its not too late.
