Friends, help me with a clarification on Proof of Funds. I got medical request along with i am also asked to submit proof of settlement funds again for around $18,000. I have all my money in check in account for $20,000 and only $1000 in savings account. would this be fine?. do we need to have money in savings account or we can show funds from checkin account also. I did the same way when i submitted my application on May 7th. I am not sure why they have asked for proof of funds again.

PER : Aug 11th 2014
CPC-Ottawa
Medical request on : Nov 3rd along with request for proof of funds and RPRF fee request.

Checking account will do. No worry on this. They just want to check as it is checking account, whether the money is still there. Provide last 6 month statements - if possible.

I got my Medical and PCC request on 10 October, but my agent somehow forgot to send me an intimation mail.

Now, my medicals are done and received by CIC. But, I have initiated the PCC process now for India & UK.

And, ironically, my deadline is 24th November.

I am confused, whether should I wait for PCC ??
Or
Can I send the landing fee and remaining documents ??

I used my driving experience from my home country. I had to do the G1 written test first and then I was allowed to go straight to the full G road test. Therefore, I got exempted from doing the G2 road test.

If i am not wrong driving license from home country works for only 60 days and international driving license works for 1 year. If we have one year experience of driving from home country, we can directly get G license....

Hi guys...... My CC got charged 1100CAD 10 minutes back.... I got out specially to inform everyone on the group..... My happiness is beyond par..... I couldn't tell anyone at work so got out to tell my wife and you guys...... What a relief....!!!

I don't know if my new payment form was added or not but I still got charged....! Yippee re!! . This is just awesome.... I was giving some training at work and got out and checked my phone.... I literally yelled YESSSSS in my team's sitting bay......!

Been an uphill ride with roller coasters here and there so I need a lot of +1s.... Show me some love!

Read the Medical Exam details posted by Goku........ Sugar level is checked throuh URINALYSIS not BLOOD. HBA1C is through blood. Just get ur URINANLYSIS (MICROSCOPIC, CHEMICAL, and DIPSTICK....... dipstick and chemical are basically same but still ask specifically for dipstick as well), and see if they show GLUCOSE in it as well. First check FASTINg, THEN NORMAL/REGULAR and then after having 4-6 liters of water in a day with 2 liters 1 hr before the test (thats the ideal scenario u shud give ur actual medical with).

As far as telling a doctor is concerned, if he asks DO NOT HIDE ANY INFO, but NO NEED to VOLUNTEER any info as well. Remember, this test is not part of ur any disease diagnosis, u did it for in-depth checking before the exam but good thing is that initial medical required by CIC is not this in-depth. Its fairly basic level.

Dear Forum Friends

Today I happened to check my sugar levels prior to doing my FSW medicals..Levels were 85 and 120 fasting & PP which is normal

But My HBA1C level is about 7.3. So my family phsycian suggested that i might have had a higher sugar level during last few months
but currently it is normal. Doctor said that it a pre-diabetic case ..... I was shocked and feeling worried now

Has anyone of you had similar experience? Is it a good idea not to mention it in Medical test.Can anyone advise what tests exactly they will perform?

Really worried about during the medical tests.....What will happen if they discover high H1Ac levels more than 6.5 ......

Need more help from your friends...I am planning to do medicals by November end 2014 as i need to submit all documents by 13-Dec-2014

Really worried about my average H1 ac level...What does one need to do to bring lower H1ac levels?Huh?

They often ask for POF again. Checking account is liquid, so it's fine.

my ECAS was showing nothing last night and today just checked as every morning and PUMMMM "In Process" I dont know if I should jump of happiness or not!

I was expecting "we received your app on july 10"

I have two queries please someone help.
1) I have sent my Bachelors degree and ECA report but I had not sent transcripts to CIC along with application will that be a problem.
2) And I am based in Qatar and had sent them latest visa copy as legal entry proof but its not year old as I forgot to send previous visa copy.

Please advise, my application received on 3rd sept.

As per the document checklist, you were required to send degrees/certificates and transcripts of all educational documents. Also, proof of legal entry is important to determine the relevant visa office. Please send these as additional documents as soon as possible (before they perform completeness check on your application). Include a cover letter explaining the reason for additional documents. You can mention courier shipment number in cover letter so that they can put these documents in your original application.

Bro, Zaydoov had sent an email to CIC to understand CAP and what applications are counted towards CAP.

CIC has replied saying that they consider completed apps towards CAP, giving hope here, that CAP is based on completeness check and not on PER.

An open question. is there anyone who can assume how many applications are being received a day and how many CIC can complete for completeness check. Do they do in one day or can take more days for checking 1 day's applications...

CIC did completeness check of 749 applications in 5 days. But They were very slow about the applicants for the Month of MAY. Cozz that particular month they received the highest volume of applications. currently CIC completed the completeness check of August applicants and they are performing the check for the Month September.
