Dear Friends,


I am from India and my application is ready to send. But finding problems with payment. There are three modes of payment mentioned:

1. Certified cheque: Banks here told they dont provide any certified cheque facility.
2. Demand Draft: Banks told me that they can issue Demand draft with maximum validity of 3 months but CIC required it with minimum 6 months.
3. Credit card info: I dont have any. If I applied for Credit card now it will take 10-15 days and credit card will be with the limit of Rs 25K only.

I have another option, my cousin is there in canada if I can provide his Credit card number? or will my credit card with limit of Rs.25K accepted?

Guys please help me.

Also suggest how can I get my cousin's sign on the form.

Send your completed application to your cousin along with
the fee form and ask him to sign and date it accordingly.
Your cousin will then post your application package
on your behalf to CIC.
Ensure you guide your cousin when filling the fee
form to avoid any error please.

Second line updated on 8 October. I am still waiting for MR.

Guys Is to possible to see the applicants VO vise how many applicants are there of different dates for a particular VO as now files r moving to VO so how many applicant of say 20th May are there from NDVO and how many got MR. Is it a way to view SS this way? If not can thinking/views on these lines?

DD is the safest mode of payment. Let the bank know that you are in need of Foreign currency DD. This type of DD's are valid for a minimum of 6 months. Good luck.
