@ CanOI - Letters from seniors on official mail id and take a print out ? I will not be able to get the letter from seniors on letter head.

If I submit the job duties letter for my current designation stating I am employed with them since Apr 2012 and I also submit my appointment and promo letters - would that suffice ?

letters from seniors can be on plain paper. Don't take email prints.

Also if you submit ref letter mentioning only current designation, Cic will only consider that experience and earlier experience will be ignored.

Hi all,

Do we have anyone who has got verification calls from NDVO.

Asking coz the company which I worker 3 years ago is sold to a different company. And the one which I worked prior to that has shut down.

If they call my current company where I m working for past three years they might get thru the switch board as that is the HR hotline number mentioned on the ref. Letter.

Do you think it would be good to go?

Haven't heard from anyone. Does it mean NDVO is not doing any verification calls?

July most probably.

definitely not October...

I read somewhere that it's the number of Applications 'received'. Do we mean to say that there would be a 3 month delay in updating this number by CIC?

And assuming this is true, do you think an application filed in the coming week will fall under the cap for NOC code 2171?

Hello all

Sooo... ECAS finally caught up. Now seeing 'Decision Made' with 4th line: "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

And this is AFTER I've already been issued the visa and got back my passport and received my COPR :o :P. My VO is working even faster than ECAS can update, it literally cannot keep up, dwl.

WOW.........

Thats is so quick buddy..........

A big congrats .......:D :D :D

I looked at the vo and it was ndvo. Hence guessed that it couldn't be Jamaican dollar. Honestly my first impression was also Jamaican dollar as I am from banking field.

Thanks Ashif bro. Thanks also for creating this forum thread, +1. It was a HUGE help in the first stages when preparing the application. Wow, that now seems so long ago and it was just earlier this year. I tell you, the wait is a killer! But to all those who are still waiting, keep holding on. Your time will come and it will be worth it :D.

Oh ok, makes me feel better that it at least came to your mind, lol. At least the currency of our little island is known :).
