Till March 2015.
@ zainab.p ..sorry my bad. It is till April 30th 2015 unless a new ministerial instruction changes it. (I am lost, how I typed "March"! Sorry anycase.) I have separately also sent you a PM in-case you miss this posting. All the best!

How is it that London visa office is processing June applicants whereas so many of May applicants including me have not heard anything. Also, I was wondering...do you think that the NOC code has anything to do with processing. I find that my NOC 1112 is not moving forward with London VO.ß

Got MR, RPRF and PCC request from NDVO. I'm May 20 applicant, NOC 2173. I just applied for FBI PCC a week ago, but FBI site says it takes upto 12 weeks to get the PCC back, but VO gave time only until Dec 16. How do i address the PCC issue with NDVO?

CC Charge Date: Aug 28, 2014
PER : Sept 11, 2014
MR : Nov 1, 2014

MR received! Congratulations!

Very true,

But look at the pattern. DD encashment pending since a long time (last: July 8th) and CC charging going on at a rapid pace (July 15, probably, beyond that, I think someone posted July 28 also). Test of patience for DD applicants ::)

CC charging will be known as you get alert. For DD you dont get alerts. If you observe, both of mode of payments are getting PERs at the same time. If one can hold on to their desperation for a couple of weeks, DD is the safest payment mode.

My idiotic agent insisted on sending the originals and my application was accepted. Hence there is no issue till this point of time. Incase they ask for the references again at a later point of time, that may be a cause of concern.

If you send originals, i dont think they will ask for them again.

Hello Seniors,

I sent my application under FSW 2014 (2172) on 14th October(received).

I just got to know that my Bank has replaced my old credit card(as per some RBI guidelines) and the new card has been sent to my address. The card info in the new card is different from that in the old card. Old card will be active only till Dec 31'st 2014.

I am seriously depressed about it as i am sure the CC wont get charged within that. Is there anything that you can suggest to overcome this?

1. I heard that we can send the fee payment form with a cover letter. WIll that work?
2. Is it better to resend the application? If so, is there any means i can make it in the CAP 2172?

I am trying my best to contact the bank and get the validity increased but I dont think citibank is gonna listen to me as they used to.

Please help me.

Hello all,

I'm trying to fill out the Economic Classes - Federal Skilled Workers form. However, I've come across a few questions that do not apply to my case, including the question about whether my employer obtained a confirmation letter from Employment and Social Development Canada (I do not have an offer of employment in Canada) and the ones about my accompanying spouse (I am divorced). Shall I answer no to these questions or just leave the boxes blank and write not applicable next to the questions after printing the form out?

Please help as I'm running out of time!

It's because of different time zones.

Observed - CIO and NDVO both were working on this Saturday, 2-3 cc charged and 1-2 medicals reported on 1st November.

Visa offices do not follow the FIFO method please.
Mostly background checks are the causing of not attending to
applications as they were received.
The Scenario
1.No Travel History-Background checks will be quicker and MR faster
2.With Travel History-Background checks will be slow as responds are awaited from the private
firm handling these activities.
In conclusive,a June/July applicant without travel history could be attended to before May applicant
with 2 or more travel history.
Apart from the background checks, there are some other limiting factors that could cause delay like officer handling
the file,ambiguous documents,medical issues,interviews etc.
Please relax as you should expect that good news very soon.
Good luck
