i just wanted to know what the step by step procedure is after receiving the PER
My VO is New Delhi ... and how long does the process take ( approximately) from now ?

You need to wait for MR/PCC/RPRF requests.

Hi all,
Was going through this forum and found out that self declared reference letters will not be accepted by CIC!!
I'm worried now as I have sent self declared reference letter as my HR refused to give one on company letter head..

Will my application be rejected during completeness check coz of this?

Or will my application be rejected during verification time after CC getting charged?

Please suggest!!

My idiotic agent insisted on sending the originals and my application was accepted. Hence there is no issue till this point of time. Incase they ask for the references again at a later point of time, that may be a cause of concern.

Honest opinion, don't go with Agents... they take a lot of money and just get the information from the CIC website as we do... No Magic here
As always only copies are required for all the documents...except for IETLS and Credential assessment
There is not much you can do at this point.... Unless if you get your application number and if you already did... try asking the local VO if you can get the originals back
And BTW what original documents have you submitted?

Dear All Experts,

Can anyone have any idea about the FWCanada law firm. Is it a reputable firm and are genuine poeple with immigration law experience.

Because I am in negotiation with them and their charges are USD900 upon contract signing and USD900 upon application submission and USD850 upon call for medical test OR 180-Days whichever comes earlier.

Dmitrych, did VO make any calls to your place of work to verify your references? And, if by any chance you happen to know, do they always make the calls? I'm kinda scared :-X

No, they didn't make any calls, as far as I know. But I've found out from my application GCMS notes that they've sent an email to the CEO of my company (his email address was indicated in my supporting documents). I don't even know if he replied, though.
I don't know if they always do such verifications.

but still I am confused , my reference letters are in English and the check list says we can send copies ,but a friend told me copy of those letters don't have the same value coz their seals value will faded and anyone can make those letters with seals in photoshop !its easy peasy to make a seal in photoshop and print the letter in such letter like company letter
if they were written in my language ,the translated letters have enough values coz they are officially translated and they are valuable ,but a copy of English letter ? ANYONE CAN MAKE SUCH THEM !!!!!

I need the letters for other purposes ,and the companies wont give me any more letters ,

what should I do ??????????

Send only xerox copies, you are absolutly fine. I sent all xerox copies exept IELTS TRF and ECA report

Why won't he get refunded? As far as i know, the charged initial fee (CAD 550 per head) will still be refunded upon NER, its only then when file transferred to local VO and found short of points/documents and his file gets into rejection then he will not be refunded.

Actually, all applications will pass through three consquetive stages in CIO:
1- Completness check: if the application found to be incomplete, it would be returned without encashment of the fee.
2- Enchachment and Eligibility review: CIO officer will check if you have at least one year experience in one of the 50 jobs mentioned on FSW list. If the applicant fails at this stage, they will be refunded.
3- Selection and Admissibility: here CIO officer will check if the applicant gathers 67 points according to factors like age, years of experience in the main NOC or other NOCs, language abilities, and education...... If the applicant failed to reach 67 points, there would be no refund.

"If the initial assessment of your score for points against the selection factors is equal to or greater than the pass mark, your application will be sent by the CIO to the appropriate visa office for further processing and a final decision. If you do not meet the minimum requirements, or do not meet the pass mark against the selection factors, your application will be refused. In either case, a refund of processing fees will not be issued at this stage of the application process." Quoted from Instruction Guide on CIC website.

Yikes!!!!! @ grooby u dont wanna know how long that call was, but first let me warn you, please buy skype credit, NEVER USE YOUR REGULAR PHONE MINUTES, moving from the IVR to wait time took 3 minutes then i was put on a 15 minutes wait time, which actually went on to 20 minutes before someone picked my call, it took her 5 minutes to do her search and return to me.
