Can you please share your CC charge date and VO. Does the CIC sends PER updates on weekends?

My VO is London and I have send DD with the application. I haven't checked with the bank when my DD was charged. PER was sent on Friday but I think CIO can send PER on any day.

By the grace of God, today (Friday Oct 31, 2014) I got back my Passport with Visa and COPR!! My app was filed May 21, 2014 so it is now exactly 5 months and 10 days since my app was received and one month since processing began. I am so excited, it's almost impossible to contain it.

I would like to thank everyone here on this forum for the support and valuable information imparted, especially in the initial months when not much was known or very clear. I can never repay you guys, but I will always help as many as I can, like the ones who helped me.

On my ECAS, it is still showing "In Process" with 3rd line , still no Decision Made, but I foresee ECAS will finally catch up on Saturday.

Wish everybody a successful visa journey.

Also please advise, if the company i worked with is not giving Roles and Responsibility letter so will the self declaration on stamp paper works along with the Reliving letter, salary slips and promotion letters provided by the company ?


Nope, self declaration will not be considered, your file will be rejected, try to convince your HR for the same if still they dont try talking to some higher authorities for getting the same, if still not able to get it, get it from your reporting authority or seniors on letterhead, with his sign, designation, contact info and mail id, also you can attach his visiting card with the letter....Thanks....

You can write your responsibilities on affidavit. That will be acceptable. Its better to take reference letter from your seniors/colleagues also.

If my passport is issued in a foreign country i.e. in the embassy of my nationality, what shall I mention in Generic application form in passport "Country of Issue"?

Country of my Nationality or Country of Issuance?

Finally I got response from CIC after 40 days on query of not received PER mail and my dd was en cashed on 10 July in reply they wrote they have sent PER e mail on 13 August ...... So now almost more then 2.5 months since they sent e mail. Now I wrote them tht I think they have wrong e mail add.

Hi members. I'm a july 14 applicant, no cc charge till date. Cio have started charging july 16 applicants. Is it safe to say that i got rejected? However, i should have received my application back since it will take a month for the delivery. Now, i want to try again but i need to know the reason for rejection. My noc is 2132 and i'm running out of time. I have sent them an email two weeks ago and my prediction is i will get a reply last week of nov. Any recommendations? Thanks.
