By the grace of God, today (Friday Oct 31, 2014) I got back my Passport with Visa and COPR!! My app was filed May 21, 2014 so it is now exactly 5 months and 10 days since my app was filed and one month since processing began. I am so excited, it's almost impossible to contain it.

I would like to thank everyone here on this forum for the support and valuable information imparted, especially in the initial months when not much was known or very clear. I can never repay you guys, but I will always help as many as I can, like the ones who helped me.

On my ECAS, it is still showing "In Process" with 3rd line , still no Decision Made, but I foresee ECAS will finally catch up on Saturday.

Yeah I feel the same. You only have to provide detailed letters for your primary NOC. But, if you have worked more than once in your primary NOC, you should provide details for both times I guess, as this sounds more logical to me.

Totally agree. Also, if one has experience from two companies for the same primary NOC and just one of the letters (i.e, experience from one of the two companies) is sufficient to get 67 points, then even if the other letter is not strong enough for the primary NOC, he/she should be eligible, right?

Others also, please free to chip in your thoughts on this.

Hi members,

I need an urgent clarification from someone who had same situation as I

I have got MR from NDVO and have to submit all docs within 45 days.
My wife is expecting a baby next year and I already informed VO about this but still to get reply from them.

Now my question is, should both of us go for medicals and submit all the docs as usual or hold medicals for my wife until I listen from NDVO ? Because NDVO will give reply within 28days and I don't want to wait until I gear from them

Please advise me how to go about this situation

Did ur wife's doc allowed to go for medical exams?? i am on the same boat but my doc cleared said no xrays untill after delivery.. i am also waiting for my medicals and have written to NDVO, but as usual no reply till now. if i get any reply i shall inform u.. plz do inform if u get any reply..

Not really surprising to me, as one can get UCI# from last year, if he/she might have applied. UCI# remains the same in this case.

I really need to know about the proper number of duties which must be mentioned in our reference letters .

mine has a lot of duties (11) and my friend's letter includes ONLY 5 DUTIES , do u think 5 is enough or he should add a few more duties for 2131?in NOC there are 13 duties listed for 2131

FSW has nothing to do with sponsorship.

So Local VO will not ask for that. Sponsorship means that your aunt will support you regardless of anything with food , clothing & money. But FSW states that the applicant has to financially stable to take care of themselves.

SO dont bother about that at all. You can claim 5 points for relatives but that wouldn't require a Sponsorship.
