I received PER on September 23.
Yesterday I received MR and RPRF emails, but I never received anything else in between and my ECAS only has 1 line:
1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 29, 2014.

Is this normal???
I noticed everyone got a 2nd line added to their ECAS before MR/RPRF.

Well...no fix pattern is being followed by local VOs about changing ECAS lines.

My wife is planning to apply under 1212 which has the following main duties

Supervisors in this unit group perform some or all of the following duties:
Implement efficient working processes and co-ordinate, assign and review the work of clerks engaged in the following duties: administering accounts payable and receivable; processing, verifying and recording financial documents and forms; administering payrolls; processing, verifying and recording insurance claims and forms; and collecting user fees and payments on overdue accounts

Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports

Her office is giving her a ref letter for Team Manager - Claims with the following information

• Allocation of work to team members taking into according to their skills
• Authorization of high value cheques
• Effective allocation of work to ensure adherence to TATs
• Lead, motivate, counsel, develop and coach team members to meet departmental Key Performance Indicators
• Ensuring that appropriate Anti Money Laundering procedures are followed within the team
• Effective implementation of all regulatory and compliance requirements
• Effectively implement rewards/recognition, appraisal & incentive programs
• Effective liaison with various departments to gain support and resolve issues
• Identify, facilitate and implement process improvement ideas to improve efficiency
• Manage overtime and FTE requirements to reduce costs


Will this suffice and does it cover all the relevant points?

Congratulations for your MR/RPRF Request and in the email no PCC Request was made, since it is a generic mail they normal attach the process how to get PCC.
So please chillout, complete thre medicals, get RPRF Fee DD and submit these documents along with latest passport copy to NDVO
Also mention the same cover letter to NDVO along with the requested documents.

Thanks Sreeramp for clarifying my doubts... I have one small query... Could you shed some light on the most preferred doctor on the panel which FSW applicants prefer for the medical process. I think this stage is also very critical and i just don't want to get my medicals done by some obnoxious doctor as most of them would not really care the gravity of the situation...

I do have the list of the doctors in New Delhi area but not sure above the feedback on the same...

what Palak's stats tells that, CIC has not yet started to consider applications for July 3rd week onwards.

So..no PERs have been released yet for those applicants.

Still, you have to wait for more 2-3 weeks.

Current Job = 3 years (Proper reference letter as per CIC guidelines)
Last job = 3 years (Proper reference letter as per CIC guidelines)

Above 6 years of experience giving 15 points max.

Last job = 6 Months (Generic experience letter. not as per CIC guidelines)
Last job = 6 Months (Generic experience letter. not as per CIC guidelines)

Since the last 2 jobs were of 6 months period, we didn't provide the proper reference letter as they would not have accounted for additional points. Can this be a reason for rejection?

By the grace of God, today (Friday Oct 31, 2014) I got back my Passport with Visa and COPR!! My app was filed May 21, 2014 so it is now exactly 5 months and 10 days since my app was received and one month since processing began. I am so excited, it's almost impossible to contain it.

I would like to thank everyone here on this forum for the support and valuable information imparted, especially in the initial months when not much was known or very clear. I can never repay you guys, but I will always help as many as I can, like the ones who helped me.

On my ECAS, it is still showing "In Process" with 3rd line , still no Decision Made, but I foresee ECAS will finally catch up on Saturday.

Wish everybody a successful visa journey.

Hello Indresh,

If you go through the SS for Processing started applicants (orange rows), you will find many early May applicants with second line updated and still no MR. But on the other hand, there are many cases who have already received MR without the second line update. So, its really hard to judge the actual scenario in NDVO processing.

The best thing would be to forget this situation for few days (its hard but still possible) as we cannot do anything (I believe so).

By the way, did you hear about any verification calls/checks at your employer end ?

P.S. friends I had posted two three times about this second line trend, but i guess it got missed in the sea of pages we have here. Would appreciate any response on the matter.
