Hi Guys,

I am new here. I have found this forum really helpful so far. I have just begun collecting my documents for FSW 2014.
I know I am late to the party!

Anyways, I will have all my documents ready by mid November (Including WES and experience letters), except for IELTS.
My test date is 6th Dec, 2014. I am hoping I get the result by 22 Dec or so.

My questions :

1) Can I send my application without IELTS -GT results and maybe attach it later?

2) I have appeared for IELTS - Academic ( Overall - 8, R-8, W-8, L-8, S-7.5) .Can I attach that while I wait for my IELTS - GT results?

3) Should I just wait it out and send my application under Express Entry?

4) Is sending my application around the last week of December futile? (I will be applying under 2173 or 2171 NOC)


Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Do not send your application package without original IELTS - GT report. Hopefully CIC will update cap soon & you will be able to make better guess if you will make it under specific NOC. You can always apply to both FSW & Express Entry to increase your chances

If you have worked 3.2 years as a 40 hour full time employee and at another company worked 8 months with same job duties and same hours per week, does CIC count the eight months and adds it to the 3.2 years and make a total of 4 years? or they dont count the 8 months?

I am 9th may applicant. I received PER on 25th Aug.
Second line added on 8th October saying we started processing your application on 7th october . no MR,PCC yet. No Varification on job place as well.

I am really worried and getting panic attack. What should I do now? Anybody on same boat.

How does an applicant come to know whether his application is being attended or not.

1) My brother in law applied on 4th july and till date his card has not been charged neither he has received any communication.

2) He had visited Canada last year on work permit and has a UCI no. for that, which has not been updated as well.

Please confirm how will we come to know whether the application is still in que or has been rejected.

You can get 2 originals if you tell them that you are planning to apply for Canada residency. Try to contact your exam center in advance if possible or let them know on day of exam

With God's Grace and good wishes of forum members , Payment got charged from my Citi bank Credit Card Just now @ 5.20 pm(IST). I was expecting this charge any time since morning, I was very positive since morning, just 2 hours before, i was watching toronto's time, it was 6 am, i told my friends that person who will debit my card has woken up and i was imagining the scene also. half an hour before i told my friend that he is getting ready for office. but i was wrong, he reached office early today and debit my fees. . I am so happy, Ist Level Achieved.I will update SS after my post. Thanks all for keeping the the forum full of positivity. May God Bless all.

I have received my Medical and PCC requests (NVDO). However, I have couple of queries

1) I am in germany right now and authorities here informed that my PCC from Germany would be in german. Is it necessary to translate it into English?

2) The PCC required 4 weeks. Can i get a time extension from the Immigration Authorities?
