Hi Members,

I have received MR from NDVO today (exactly 49 days after I got PER from them). Updated SS!!!

I have few questions to be answered by members.

1. I have applied for PCC from Sweden this week and expecting it within two weeks from now, little worried about the processing time. If I didn't received it on time (with in 45 days) , can I explain it to NDVO and send it after I received?

2. I am going to have a kid next January, how to inform the change of family composition to NDVO?. Do i need to reply to the MR mail or should I have to used the link for CASE enquiry?

3. How about the Medical examination(X-ray). Will the doctor mention about it in the medical record and ignore it?

4. Recently I have got new passport (Renewal), Do I have to inform NDVO before hand or is it OK to send the updated passport copies while I send the MR and other docs?

5. RPRF. Can I pay online?. I have been given a link to pay it online by NDVO. is it OK to pay online?. or Shall I take DD?

Wish someone answers all the above questions

THanks
Vidya

Congrats :)

120 days or 85 working days for PER as an average from the date the application received.

Current average is 120 days. If you consider from 1st May applicants, it is 105 days. Note that, before 7th May files, applicants used to get PER within 30-40 days.

What will be the average return time if the address for rejected file is in Canada?

Pardon me for interfering in your discussion, but as far as i can understand, FIFO works up until the CIO Nova Scotia i.e. PER level
thereafter at the Visa office level on wards, i guess they choose randomly or as we know that there are several Visa officers who are assigned various stacks of applications hence MR requests are varying according to respective Visa officer's pace of scrutiny.

As for Second line update on ECAS, recent scenario suggests that applicants are getting their ECAS updated around the same time they receive MR from LVO with a difference of day or two.

By the way i am also LVO applicant eagerly waiting for MR, received PER on 5th Sep

Thanks man .. +1 for the info .. I agree with you but then you can imagine with the large stack of initial applications till mid May all Visa Officers would have gotten some part it and would technical still move with FIFO rather then random ... anyways its all a waiting game .. :)

Also this is a public discussion so I am glad you interfered :)

If CIO forfeit your application package, then they inform through email (called NER) but it is extremely rare.

If returned the package, they don't inform through e-mail.

Again, some people get the package back within days (specially if in Canada) and some receive it after few months (specially in sub-continent).

It would be more appropriate to say that PER may end up in junk mail or lost during shipping (in case of snail mail), BUT if the CPA at CIO has passed positive determination of eligibility the file WILL be transfered to a VO that MAY send MR at it's discretion.
I was checking my email and the junk and the trash. I was doing nothing except checking the e mail.
So just believe in god and his hands.
God bless u all. I will always pray for u.
Also pray for me.

Dear Seniors / Experts,

I have received my Medical and PCC requests (NVDO). However, I have couple of queries

1) I am in germany right now and authorities here informed that my PCC from Germany would be in german. Is it necessary to translate it into English?

2) The PCC required 4 weeks. Can i get a time extension from the Immigration Authorities?

Thanks in advance
