does anyone know if completeness checks have been done on 30th july applications? if yes does one get a mail if they decide to send ones file back?

These are definitely very far from 7-9 May apps which I expected to be processed first.

Also since you are here ... I have noticed that they add a 2nd line to ECAS "We have started processing your application on... xxxxx" about 5 days before the MR. Is this true? I am assuming before this they are conducting background assessments etc. your feedback pls.

My name spelling is Incorrect in PER mail and also on online status checking site. This is Typo mistake as my name is corrected in all documents I have submitted.

Pardon me for interfering in your discussion, but as far as i can understand, FIFO works up until the CIO Nova Scotia i.e. PER level
thereafter at the Visa office level on wards, i guess they choose randomly or as we know that there are several Visa officers who are assigned various stacks of applications hence MR requests are varying according to respective Visa officer's pace of scrutiny.

As for Second line update on ECAS, recent scenario suggests that applicants are getting their ECAS updated around the same time they receive MR from LVO with a difference of day or two.

By the way i am also LVO applicant eagerly waiting for MR, received PER on 5th Sep

It is a difficult question to answer. Volume of applications have dropped significantly and as per last update about 2 weeks ago there 348 applications. I have a friend who is finishing preparing his app for mailing in this week so why not you too ?

Worst case scenario your package is returned.

One guy received file back with rejection whose document received on 6th Aug.it mean your completeness check is done
