A lot of the forms have been changed. So do apply as a new application. Need to update POF, current employment letters, DD (if not CC), PCC.
Hi Century.... ur quite popular guy here...

My question is my status says In process but there is 3rd line added saying we have recieved your medicals? is this normal? i received MR , PCC & RPRF request on 20th Sep, the last date to submit my details was 30th oct.
my story goes like this - i did my medicals on 27th Sep and my status with 3rd line was updated on 30th Sep itself (looks undoubtably fast)
i was yet to do PCC and RPRF . so i paid RPRF online on 5th oct and did my PCC on 22nd Oct and sent my PCC , RPRF reciept & emedical to NDVO on 28th Oct.

Question time -
Can something still go wrong :-(?
what is the next stage...?
This might sound like a stupid question...

Hi senior,
I am just wondering how CIC will calculate the years of experience. Is it going to in calender months(i.e 12 months= 1 year) or hours worked (1440 hours=1 year; that is, min of 30/week).

I need your response please.

Minimum 30 hours a week ( that make u look like full time employed ) in a calendar year simple for ex 1st April to 31 St March where in u worked at least 30 hours a week paid holidays are counted ;D

I received it and it was addressed to my email only.

Question about MR
Dear seniors,
Today I got two emails from Ottawa.
One was with generic email account Do Not Reply - Ne Pas Repondre <Client-update-mise-a-jour @ cic.gc.ca> with 3 PDFs included for MR, for me, wife and baby
Another one was from Case Processing Agent <FirstName.LastName @ cic.gc.ca> (his personal company email address) which I found very wierd.

Those who received MR from CPC-Ottawa or othe VOs, can you please let me know if this seems suspicious at all?

For me, it does not look suspecious at all....!

They may call you for interview, probably they want to know more details about you.

So start collecting details/prepare for interview questions, your job duties etc.,

However, all other process "paying RPRF and medicals are same as others"

So dont delay anything...

all the best...!

Interview is waived. I was only suspicious that email was generated from personal company account instead of a generic account.

If you have worked 3.2 years as a 40 hour full time employee and at another company worked 8 months with same job duties and same hours per week, does CIC count the eight months and adds it to the 3.2 years and make a total of 4 years? or they dont count the 8 months?

Please help;

My consultant has forwarded me an email from CIC:

Why are we asked to pay 550$ (Canadian) when fee should be $490 Canadian for everyone?

Dude my MEDS were issued on 11th october itself, but when do we pay RPRF? Do we wait for FBI reports to come in before sending Indian PCC to them?

Dear Members,

I got my PER 10/29/14, can I ask when is the most possible date to get Medical Request letter? A month is practical?

Thanks,

Right of Permanent Resident Fees are $ 490 CAD.

Processing fees, that should be paid in the beginning of the process, are $ 550 CAD per family member:

Thanks,

It depends on the VO.

One month only on the very fast VOs. Check the SS on my signature and go to the "Avg Process Time" tab - you will find the information you need.
