The above reads: "Indian people will not be able to read this", and it is meant to be a kind reminder to our nice Indian fellows who sometimes type in Hindi in this forum. You are not the only multilingual people in this forum. So, let's strictly stick to using English :)

And by the way, thanks for the great contribution you do in this forum. You have helped me a lot. I wish I could speak Hindi :)

I got following information from help desk two days back

1. App received date
2. UCI No
3. App No.
4. Date since my app is in process

and this information was more than sufficient. There is always a possibility to write mail for current status.
100% try to call if you think its too late. Mail is replied in at least 6 weeks by CIC.

The help desk is not allowed to give out this information and doesn't have access to file status. You should email the visa office instead. There's no point calling.

There's a special CBSA counter for that, don't worry. All they need is COPR for your file to appear on their computer.

Guys, I was just wondering (in a sarcastic sense) what would be the experience like IF THEY WERE LIKE babus? How funny the situation could get? (otherwise I know they're very professional)

Like I remember, last time when I visited India, immigration officer asked me "Why am I coming back?"!!! LOL - I am a citizen of India, that's not enough for him. I had to explain my family lives in India and I am visiting them as a holder of Citizenship visa - lol :o ;D 8) :-[ :P

2 years ago, when I was returning to UK, I was asked by immigration officer "can I do him a favor?" - you know what, he wanted me to bring a parcel from his cousin in London next time I visit India :o ;) :D ;D :o

Absolutely Romar. It is disrespectful. Request every one to use English only.

Hello Forumites, I'm in a fix and need some assistance from you guys.

I have applied under the NOC 2281 for which i have a total experience of 5 Years (In two different firms). Application received date is August 27.
While waiting for my PER to arrive, I've got a good opportunity with another MNC for a more or less different kind of role and the Joining date there is Jan 13, 2015.

New Job profile is the closest to the same NOC 2281 but the Job responsibilities are just not matching with the ones in hrsdc website.
Now my question is that if I join the new company with a profile which does not match 2281, would I still be clearing the Eligibility Criteria? Would there be any problems I might face. If yes, what are the best possible solutions to still make it through.

Thanks! Smiley

Won't be an issue. Do inform VO after you get PER though.

Hello Guys
I applied this year under NOC 2171 on 5th-May, and got PER on 12th June (just a single applicant based in UAE, originally palestinian female).
Yesterday i got letter from London visa office to send them the following:
- Right of Permanent Residence Fee for CAD $490
- Medical examination results
- Information chart. Please see the attached document.
- Passport copies (bio-pages).

I paid RPRF online and got the receipt. my queries are:
1. How to send the visa office the RPRF receipt? through mail or email?
2. How do i send the medical results? i already booked appointment with local doctor
3. How do i send the information chart and the passport copies? (mail or email)? (note: info chart is just a word document to specify some details about the applicant like height, eye color...etc)
also, they asked to send these documents within 30 days, although in the medical form they mentioned it should comepleted within 60 days... i am confused? please guys i need some help here

Hi Congrats for your RPRF and Medical request .

I also received the same requests along with PCC request . In my case they have mentioned to send all orginal PCC of my family with information chart to London office address specified in the email . So i have send the details by courier to london , Canadian embassy .

You will also be able to find a posting address as specified below

" Immigration Section/Service d'immigration
High Commission of Canada/Haut-commisariat du Canada
MacDonald House
38 Grosvenor Street
London W1K 4AA/Londres W1K 4AA
United Kingdom/Royaume-Uni

or to the email as reply .

RPRF receipt can also be send to " cpco-cost-recovery.ctdo-recouvrement-frais @ cic.gc.ca " or " cppo-cost-recovery @ cic.gc.ca " . I have send email for my RPRF to the above address but they did send an automatic acknowledgement only . after 10 days of Payment and sending details by courier to the above address i got my status changed .

Also for all transactions remember to put your file number on all pages of the document or email subject heading .

* you need to do the Medical from Registered Medical Clenic . I have don from Abu-Dhabi , they have done fast updation also .

It is no more a "Bill", it is a law (Act) now as it has received Royal Assent as of June 19, 2014.

Thanks for clarifying though that it is not effective immediately. I didn't put that disclaimer as the "future dated PRs" (current applicants) would certainly under the new law.

For those who wish to read, here's the discussion:

Sorry not meant to divert. I guess this thread is for FSW 2014 PR applicants.

I agree English should be the only language here.
الإنجليزية فقط

BTW Romar, I could read your comment through GOOGLE TRANSLATION. :)

Hi

I am FST applicant and wondering what is PER time difference between FSW and FST???
CC charged 17/10 and ecas showing in process

any idea?
thank you for your opinions in advance

Understand your point and accept it should not happen. "Indian people will not be..." just for your info, there are more Urdu literate people in India than in any country of the world :)
Unfortunately I am not one of them.

First of all don't forget to mention your name and application number on ur RPRF receipt by hand.
Book appointment only with a doctor who is enlisted cic not just any local doctor and at the completion of the test he will give u acknowledgment receipt..now put all the docs (medical receipt. ..Rprf receipt. ..and all other requested docs) in envelope and send to your vo by mail or courier.

I was wondering how would the landing experience be if immigration officers at port of entry in Canada were as untrained as some of our Indian babus (govt employees) are?

Would they even know that there is a scheme called FSWP?
How many counters one may need to go thru to get PR card? (that is if their computer systems are working) ;D

PS: No offence meant for anyone, including our babus who are showing up on time in office under this new govt.
