my application was sent to CIC on Jun 25 with the payment of DD, but until now, I haven't received any feedback from CIC and DD has not been charged. I have worked for 4 companies and there were some unemployment months. Would it be some reason why my application had been checked slowly? Thanks a lot!

It depends on supporting document that you submit with the application. They are very expert on this matter and handles so many cases, so going through the document if they are in doubt of anything they will try to query. So the best thing to do is provide as much information to convince the VO and if you have any doubt with any papers which you think may confuse the VO then its better to give explanation about it in a forwarding letter with the application.

They have lot of way to verify your identity and they are also aware that if they openly do the verification then it may have negative impact on your workplace as they cannot guarantee that your application will be processed successfully.

Q: Does any visa office/ SGVO do any investigation of workplace through their agents?
Q: If they do so, whom do they contact? The undersigned person of the reference letter?

I have the worst supervisor ever, so these questions came to my mind

I called CIC but they couldn't tell about my application status.......how come people are getting to know about their UCI number. My application was submitted on 12th June DD under NOC 1112....no news till yet.

The person at CIC call centre said if you haven't heard anything till date then it means your file must be getting processed but I am not too sure since few people of the forum mentioned that they got their UCI numbers.

Any sort of help is appreciated.

With GOD'S click on the "send email" button today i got MR/PCC/RPRF email.

160 days from the date of App received / 47 days from the date of PER / SS updated already

Submit by - 45 days
email - DELHIIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca
instruction - to send photocopies of PP, but strictly mentioned not Original PP.
medical forms - 3 separate forms & email (as we are 3 members)

fee payment link - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?lob=proc&cat=perm

1. As i have stayed 3 years in canada, they have not asked me for canada PCC, so its cleared ppl having question where they required a PCC from canada, if stayed - Nope not required

2. If change in your family composition - one must need to update VO immediately as this may affect the processing requirements and processing time for your application

Always include the applicant's full name, date of birth, and file number in your message

UCI number for me and my wife is the same, but my child's differs on the form they have emailed ? is that a worry ? :

once ur case gets transfered to LVO,
then it depends upon ur Visa officer, sumtimes they contact on numbers giver on experience letter head, very rarly they may pay a personal visit, but very rarly....

it all depends upon ur visa officer...

Any body applied PCC from Hyderabad??

Can anybody please guide me how to get PCC done??

My PER Date : 20.10.2014.

I have logged in and filled up all the form online through passportkendra portal. But while booking appointment for fixing up slot its always showing all slots are booked.

Please guide me also let me know whether any other alternatives available for getting PCC done.

I have contacted CIC and they told me that my application under processing and give me my UCI number as well what does it mean?
Does it mean my application get through application completeness and wait for last verification of point and NOC identifying

Really cause from what i read it takes another year for the spouse PR to process ... and how soon after he gets his PR can he apply for his spouse ?
