One of my reference letters was written by me ....describing duties. I attached of course payslips, contract and other support docs.
The other reference letter was written by manager but no letterhead. And finally the one that had the company logo hadnt any biz card.

how long after "medical results recieved" in Ecas do you get passport request?

PPR is not issued after "medical results recieved" status on Ecas, but PPR is issued after security clearance.

You are right except the last part. The two years need not be consecutive. Any two years period spent in Canada (cumulative) within the 5 years validity of the PR card is sufficient.

I think you are wrong.
At this time it is 2 years out of 5 and there are some indications that this limit is going to be pushed up.
Those 2 years don't have to be consecutive.

Security Clearance

Each applicant over the age of 18 is required to pass the security requirement. All applicants must prove that they are not a threat to the safety of Canadian Society. Applicants provide this information through Police Clearances which the applicant must obtain directly and by passing the background clearance which the immigration authorities obtain on behalf of the applicant.

After receiving Medical results by Regional Medical, they enter into GCMS 4.0 system, after that Otawa, Canada Check the medical results if they don't satisfy they email to applicant for further test, if they satisfy and approve the results they generate the following line of ECAS.

Nope.

Eligibility, Background & Criminality -- > Tagged pass --- > Receives MR & RPRF
Security ---> Tagged Pass ---> Receives PPR.

Now the thing is no one is certain when they start working on Security after Medical is Received .

The hypothesis is that NDVO has not started sending the PPR yet... Once they will start (hope by next week) our forum will be flooded with congrats...
The hypothesis is based on PER email sent by them.. Although they had so many applications with them by July transferred by CIC, but they started sending PER in first week of August.. I remember everybody was saying that CPC Ottawa is very fast in sending in PER and then Passport Req.. but when NDVO started sending PER, it crossed CPC-O number of PER very quickly.. Lets see when they are done with verification of the docs sent alongwith RPRF and we will see the rain of PPRs..

Hi,
I am 20th May applicant, noc 2173, New Delhi VO. I applied from Hyderabad.
I received PER on 8th Sept. I am waiting for MR request. In the spreadsheet i see that many 20 May and later applicants have got MR.
How soon can I expect MR. Is this normal or something I should be worried about. :-[
Is there anyone with similar case.

Hi Guru,

I think if u need to send the PCC along with app to CIC it should not be 3 months old , if however you send it later , i THINK the validity is 1 year , has someone got it from AMbala PSK ... or even chandigarh , the problem is they are not issuing a fresh one , because they say that the old one was issued on 24th june and hence cannot apply till 6 months from 24th june are completed.
