I am mechanical engineer and my wife is lecturer Pls tell me what can i do when i think to move canada bec in india i have good job and good package its very difficult to move there bec each and everything starting from zeero.I dont know in starting what kind of job i will do there i am very scared pls suggest me is life smooth in canada practically ?

My dear friend, why these questions now. Why you did not ask these questions before sending your application. If you have a good package and well settled life, and most importantly you are satisfied and content with your life then there is no point in going to Canada.

To my mind, people who want to immigrate to Canada are those who want good "quality" of life not only for themselves but, for their kids as well. Let me tell you here that "quality" is a very subjective term.
There may be different set of people who want to immigrate to explore the world or they are adventurous. 'am sure these people, including me, think that something is "missing" in their life.

anybody from west side of US. I am from Nevada got PER on 15 october. I filled LA as visa office but later found that LA does not process PR cases, so it might be New York or Ottawa. just want to know if anyone know where will my application go now?

you have a year from MR to complete landing procedure.
You can come back after this process is completed. PR card takes around 45-90 days at times to receive.
Also you need to stay consecutive 2 years in Canada in the preceding 4 years to be eligible to extend PR.

CPC-ottawa is the designated visa office for all FSW applications from the US.

Can anybody do the analysis of how many applications are from NDVO(or may be any VO) and what is the current status(date wise, like wise estimate charge date) of those applicants because I am unable to edit the same.
