hi, I feel u can start with base job ( freshers) in mechanical engineering, i.e. mech engr, project engr,
also u may get 22 cad/hr min in starting, if u r in core NOC. but be prepared to work in other streams also, main thing is to bear the expenses in initial 6 - 12 months. after that u will manage something definitely. No need to scared.......yes u have to start from zerooo,

Sawtantar,

I would suggest not to apply till you are confident with yourself. If you are scared this is not your cup of tea. Life in Canada is good but YES there is something called initial struggle, people in forum have shared their stories and people have flipped burgers at Mac'd who had good educational a background nd work exp. Immigration phase to any country is not easy and you should be confident in yourself as this is a long and tedious process, Which involves lot of money, time and patience.

Am not discouraging here, don't get me wrong.

FBI PCC Updates:

Just sharing some hard learned facts about my own FBI PCC being stuck from past 40 days and still counting..

My form reached FBI office: 15-Sep
CC Charged: 7 Oct

I have called them twice so far. CC charged means nothing as that is the first thing they do when they open envelope. At this stage they also enter your details in the system.
It is however the later stages when the actual scanning and background check reports come along through the new system that are affected with the recent IT System changes.

Note that they are currently processing August 7th dated application. At their current pace it will take minimum 12 weeks, and this can delay more if the new system don't catch up on the backlog soon.

The prudent thing to do is inform your VO about this delay and set their expectation right.

Same here bro. When asking DHL , they said they are putting all packages received on the same day in one bag . So, no individual delivery. But they gave me the name of the person who received the bag. So, call them and ask for the name of the man and the proof of delivery of the bag. Please post back any information you get if different from what i got.

Guys is it a reason to worry? Or its just reconfirming of the delivery. ..

you will again have to wait 3 months atleast to get payment charged and another one month avg to get per.

i m amazed that again u applied and wanted to use CC........i dont know why even after reading thousand times people still use CC and takes its risk without mitigating them! wish u good luck but u should have used DD the very first time and this time as well.

this time my consultant used his company credit card...
