i have a work ex of 1 year as purchasing manager. But on HRSDC website, below the job duties, there is a section of employment requirement. I am concerned with that. Will the see that too and is that for working in India or in Canada or for CIC evaluation ?

You need to have a work ex of min 1 year in the NOC you are applying for ( from any where in the world ) and the Job details ( ref letter ) from the company need to mention the Job duties ( that should match with the duties of that NOC ) , along with other things such as hours per week , your pay and other stuff , m sure you will find a sample ref letter on google if you search for one.

We always get tensed and worried:
1. My CC/DD not encashed yet - am tensed
2. CC encahsed but, no PER - am tensed
3.People who received PER after me got MR but am waiting - am tensed
4.MR done 2 weeks back but, no ECAS change - am tensed
5.ECAS shows "medical received" but no PPR - am tensed
6.PPR received, sent passport but no update - am tensed
7.Yipee..finally got the maple leaf on my PP. To go or not to go is the million dollar question - am tensed

Oh guys,
let's keep doing what we can and should do. And rest on the almighty. Why on earth we should get tensed, worried blah blah... Tension has never helped and would never help - whether u applied for FSW or not

anyone know what is the problem of Ottawa VO in October ??? i notice that since 3october till now only one MR ..IS THAT NORMAL \??????
i doubt that they slow down all applications or there is something wrong in Ottawa VO

Guys,
My application was received on July 14, used secondary school certificate as BC. But I realized later that my wife's SSC does not have her parents' name. So, I got affidavit done by her parents and sent on September 9. Simultaneously, I wrote a mail to CIO explaining everything, attached scan copy of affidavit and asked them to match the additional document to my application. Yesterday, I have received following reply from CIO after 45 days.

I checked document checklist and i tgink to send applicants schoold certificatr is not mandatory. Am i right? but ehat abouts spouse? do we have to send copy of spouses diplomas?

Spouse diplomas are not required unless you are asking for points for the same

Applicants degree certificates along with ECA are must

In short , you should provide substantial documents for whatever you are looking for points
