BTW, I've been reading that PCC has a 3 month validity when submitted with the initial application, is that true?

I sent in my application on 6/26 with the PCC and got my PER on 10/22, will this mean that I'll need to get an updated PCC and submit it? If so, it blows!

If the PCC is for US , the validity is 3 months. otherwise most of the countries have 1 year PCC

No. PCC is valid for one year. But it has to have been issued not more than 3 months ago at the time you submitted to CIC.

Hi! I'm new to this forum,I've send my application on 5 August under NOC 0113,but as i was new to this job,my current employer refused to give me the reference letter until i complete at least 6 months of association with them,as now I've successfully completed this tenure they have issued me the reference letter with every needed detail. I want to ask that should i send this document to CIC along with my PCC, which i didn't submitted with my application. Help sought.

What do you mean by the bold part? Your current employment is your only job in NOC 0113? If so then you wouldn't have met the minimum eligibility requirement of one year continuous employment in the nominated NOC.

If you already have previous work experience in NOC 0113 that fulfills the minimum employment requirement and you have provided the required evidence from those employments, then you will be fine. Your current reference letter is only important if this is required either to be eligible for the program or for points.

Hi thanku all forummates........ I almost lost the hope. Bt it is never too late . We have all got the idea of how CIC works bt may b there are things v dun knw. As my application was received on 6th June and it was processed late and even my bank showed the DD as pending. However the same was cashed on 26 September. I knew Indian banks r not DAT reliable
I will be needing ur help for the further process.
One thing i wanna ask In how much time the file is received at NVDO after the PER???

Got per mail today 3 hours before Noc 1114. Application recived date 25th june. DD enchashed 14th oct. Per 23rd oct on diwali thank you god and be positve who are still waiting

Can anyone let me know how much time it takes to cc to be charged once application received at USA FBI department for clearance. And what is the overall time for getting the results?

Applying in two categories maximizes the chances of getting selected. The main problem is you need to gather all required documents twice and follow the document check list step by step. For example, if you have only one original copy of your ielts you should request a second copy because CIC will treat each application separately and is mandatory the original. Another thing will be application fee, in both cases application fees should be paid. In a later stage one of the applications will be dismissed and you won't get your money back. So my opinion is: select the noc where you have more chances of getting selected. Also look for the coldest one. Hope this helps.

IELTS NEXT OG COPY IS NOT REQUIRED just copy and notarize it and include letter mentioning this is my second application and original ielts report is included in first application. I got per for both but not in spreadsheet update later for some reason

I sent my applucation on May 23rd.
Application received Date is May 29th
PER Received Date is Sep 23rd.

As soon as I get PER, I send the following Docs to CPC-O, without waiting to request from the CPC-O VO.
1) USA PCC
2) Upfront Medical Reports
3) RPRF

Today, I got the status change as follows:

1.We received your application for permanent residence on May 29, 2014.

2.Medical results have been received.

Hi all,
Just to share some tips for those who are is sending PCC with application from India.
mostly PSK don't encourage to Give PCC with out reason or letter, they sent me back on first day.
then I tried to check with passport officer and finally he agreed to give the PCC based on our checklist, I have shown point no 17 he agreed,

next day he has given me the PCC on the same appointment.

Use our check list as base reference letter.

How come it is possible seniors please shade some lights. In per it is mentioned not to provide any docs unless asked by VO so how is it possible.

I just got the PER mail from CIO. Alhamdulilliah.

Application Received: 26-06-2014
NOC: 2132
DD charged: 14-10-2014.
PER received:23-10-2014.

Does your passport expires soon ? ( That is why they need a new one)

I received my medical on 17 september 2014.they asked for my RPRF-PCC-Medical and boimetric page of passport.I sent them all this documents including copy of my old passport which was valid.But now i have got a new passport .I have emailed the scan copy of my passport to London visa office.do i need to sent hard copy to LVO.

not sure why CIC has lost its momentum. I am July 14th guy and was expecting some sort of update by end of this months but it looks like its going to take a while .

Friends, Do we have anyone charged post July 7th . I see the last update's are on 7th

It looks like they have quite high number of applications in July preferably thru consultants and they are not updated in our excel sheets. CIC could be charging tons of cards but since the number of apps here in excel sheet are less, we are not getting notification on that...................................

Anyone who is silent here and got a cc charge , please let me know.

Any recent charge on 2281, I see very less number in Excel sheet but do we have any recent charge done
