@ 3142: You know, I used to think that if it has been rejected I would have received it by now...but one of the forum members received his returned application on the 5th month of waiting...So that theory goes down the drain and it is still a waiting game!

Yes you are right, I have also analysed SS, Few applications are even returned/rejected after payment charged .... that's destiny !!
also am sure those concerned wont be disheartened .. rather reapply or plan for express 2015.

If you see the SS, there are many more applicants (earlier than your application date) waiting for their MR. Nobody knows how NDVO is working and on what basis sending MRs.

Seniors, my birth certi was not in english hence i translated to english and submitted.

I have submitted:
1. Translated copy of birth certi (on 20rs stamp paper) with notary stamp, sign and details of registeration etc. (affidavit not done)
2. Original birth certi's (non english) notarized copy
3. SSC birth certi copy (shows my DOB in words and numbers with my father's name)
4. School leaving certi copy (shows my DOB in words and numbers with my father's name)

is this OK?

I have following updates in documents so how should I inform CIC now

(1) I have received updated passport for myself and my wife! Yes, you can inform VO through https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=london ; you can attach scan copy.
(2) I had submitted PCC for myself and my wife from both countries (KSA and Pakistan), do I need to resubmit PCC or should I wait for CIC call? Wait
(3) My NIC and My wife NIC/ NICOP has been renewed! not required
(4) My and My wife's Saudi Iqama's (meaning permanent resident cards) have also been renewed! Yes, you may.
(5) After submission of my application, my wife and myself have travlled to Bahrain and my home country? Not required
(6) Can you please guide me now, what forms in hard copies I have to fill and sent to CIC and which address to send? Just process through Case specific enquiry.

They offer one day workshop to help newcomers to be well prepared, they offer advises about all matters related to Jobs market in Canada.

Step 1:
Write a cover letter explaining missing of name in BC but 10th grade certificate has all information. Also affidavit of BC has been attached. Mention your Full Name, DoB, UCI (of you have any), Passport number. Also provide the detail of when and who received your original package through which courier. Send the letter with affidavit at:

Step 2:
After one week of your additional documents being received to CIO, send e-mail at cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca asking whether your additional documents have been added to the original application package. Attach the scan copy of your affidavit. Mention your Full Name, DoB, UCI (of you have any), Passport number. Also provide the detail of when and who received your original package as well as additional documents through which couriers.

Step 3:
Relax and chill.

Good that you have PCC, ready.
But advise you to wait till you receive a request from VO.

Sending PCC now will not accelerate your application process, let your Consultant aware of this part.
