my file reached on 26th June 2014. but I havenot heard anything from CIC yet.
anyone still waiting for the CC to be charged.
I start to worry now whats happening?????????????????????????!????????

I got my per on 10 th oct My visa office is new delhi. Any idea how long its going to take for transferring my file to visa office

Sleepless night...so logged into ecas....however had a mild scare when the page said that this is only for our clients....in frenzy rentered all details.....and behold....second line added to my "in process" status...yay!!!!
"We started processing your file on 16th october"
this is great news!!!!

Also does anyone know how many "lines" come in ecas? Does this mean that my file is not transferred yet to NDVO?
Does anybody know how long now for mr approx?
NDVO is my visa office.

I am May 22 applicant, also get "we started processing your application on October 16, 2014" and I am waiting for MR . According to SS, people who got second line, they got MR after 3 weeks. GOOD LUCK TO YOU and ME At least CPC-Ottawa is still alive and working

I check my ecas and it says "we started processing your application on October 17, 2014". How many days should I wait before they request Medical? thanks

Hello Guys.

I Just recived AOR and MR from Mexico City Visa Office.
I have a few questions:

1- Its stated on the instructions that i have to pay "Right of Permanent Resident Fee", $490CAD per person.
Is this another payment different from the first $550CAD of the form from the application package.

2- Instructions says: "Please follow the attached instructions to obtain the police certificate we require" but there's no attached
instructions.

3- I just called the Doctor to get medicals done, it costs $300USD per person. Is it normal?

1. Yes there are differents fees..

CAN ANYONE UPLOAD THE CONTENTS OF PCC AS I APPLIED FOR IT FROM THE SSP OFFICE IN GHAZIABAD AND THEY TOLD THAT ITS A GENERAL CERTIFICATE WHICH DOES NOT MENTION THE COUNTRY IT IS REQUIRED FOR.

Its a general certificate so no need to be panic, as content always different in all states police dept. sometime they mention the specific country and reason for PCC, sometime not ......so just relax

yes it is a general statement certificate saying that no adverse reports found etc of the person with xyz passport jumber and residing at abc etc....however the last line mentions that he/she is eligible for travel and visas to all countries including CANADA.
I had got my pcc thru the passport seva kendra in mumbai.

After this once they receive Medical
Ecas Changes to "Medical results have been received"
Then directly "Decision made".

& Congrats. Now NDVO has received your file and is Under process. Once Security and BG checks are done you'll receive Medicals(my understanding).

I wish mine shows the same sooner.
