Hi Seniors,

I want to know if there is any problem that if your experience letter is signed by the same person who signed the offer letter as well ??? Since, I'm submitting both the experience letter as well as the Job offer letter ... But the person who hired me is the same person who is signing on the work experience letter , as he is my supervisor as well.

Please advice ...if it is fine or not ...

Hello Folks;

Have a quick question...I had sent my Birth Certificate to be added onto my file (July 18 applicant), I just received a reply that "I will send your email to be added to your file once it has been created. Your application is undergoing initial processing." Can I infer the following from this reply -

1) The Completeness check was successful?;and
2) File # is only created once the CC is charged?
3) What is considered/ evaluated as part of Initial processing?

(P.S - I had mentioned my UCI # as well.)

Thanks!

Century,

I have the same doubt and anxious about this requirement which is mentioned in the NOC 2011. You mean they will not look the degree or diploma in assessing the application package from an applicant for a particular as long as the degree or diploma is recognized or has an equivalent to canadian post-secondary credentials where an applicant is claiming the points for education?

I appreciate answers on here.

Yes brother, you are absolutely correct. Degree is for point purpose only and not match with relevant experiences.

Hello Seniors,

I am a 25 June applicant, NOC 2171, Mode of Payment: CC, Still heard nothing from CIC.
I am getting nervous with each passing day, as July first week applicants are charged now.

What can be the outcome and probability??

Hi guys,

This is my first post here. I have been a silent listener for a while. And you guys are doing a fantastic job. I enjoyed the humour, the panic and the frustration expressed sometimes by members. I think I am kind of addicted to this forum.

And to my fellow Nigerians I give you a quote from our national anthem

" though tribe an tongue may differ, in brotherhood we stand" and in my case in sisterhood I stand ;).

So common folks lets move on from this.

Have a great day mates

+1 sister. Yes, let's move on from this.

@daxexpert: Not too sure if you had emailed them as well? The reply that I received earlier today was based on the email notification sent on Sep 03. BTW, they do have a turnaround time of 30-40 for replying to email inquiries. Thanks

Will CIC only reply those mail which we have mentioned in application forms?
In my case my consulate make a new mail I'd but didn't share the password with us. I have already sent a mail from my personal id to CIC on 17 sept. Will I expect the reply?

Does anyone know if CAP has been reached for following IT NOCs (based on forum spreadsheet)? I couldn't find any chart giving that information.

2172 - Database analysts and data administrators
2173 Software engineers and designers

CAP not yet reached for NOC 2172 and 2173. Only reached for NOC 2174.
You can check at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp for latest update. Generally CAPs are updated every Monday, but lately this has become a little erratic.

I had also sent an email on 1st Sep, informing about the additional package which they would receive on 5th Sep.
That was the reason, I was curious.
