Did you notice that it wasn't my joke? I didn't post it.

I'm also not Indian, but you're right, I don't find rape funny regardless of race.

Well said future.
We must ensure nothing derogatory be said about anyone.

I AM SO SAD RIGHT NOW.
NOC 2145."PETROLEUM ENGINEER"
I received my application back today 20TH 0CT.
Application received date by CIO: 24TH JULY,2014
REASONS BEING:"Your letter of employment must clearly give evidence showing that you have performed the actions described in the lead statement"

My Boss used the one on the CIC page, it looks 80% close to the one stated by CIC but NEVER COPY-PASTED. The reason for rejection was the least expected to me, My Boss was shocked as well, he tried his best to do every thing appropriately.
PLEASE!! Is there any NOC 2145 " PETROLEUM ENGINEER" out there who would like to help me out with duties so i can send it to my Boss to use it as guide line to right new one, my Boss and I are confused about what CIO might be looking for.

PLEASE HELP ME.

Theres stull time, reapply asap.

Hello friends,

I'm quiet late in the whole FSWP application process; I recently decided to apply after learning that I am eligible. So I have a few questions:
1) Is there a deadline for submissions? Of course I know officially there isn't some set deadline, but do you people think that there is a date after which it would be unlikely that any application submission will succeed or be reviewed?
2) For POF I am opening up a fixed deposit account under my name and my father is gifting me funds that I am going to put in the account. My father does not plan to take this money back as he has given this to me for immigration and/or higher studies purposes. Since this account will just be opened a few days before the application submission I plan to only show the bank certificate and not the history. Is that ok? Furthermore, my father says he is willing to show the transfer of funds, the history of the funds in his account, and to write a notarized affidavit stating that these funds are a gift from him, but are those things needed at this stage? Can the bank statement be enough for now and if they ask for more information then I can send these other documents?
3) Does part-time employment count for the number of years of employment? For instance, if I worked part-time for a year, will that be counted as a year of work experience?

Thanks a lot. Looking forward to hearing helpful/informative responses!

1. The program ends on April 30, 2015, so you have to apply before then. However depending on your NOC you may be under pressure to fit in under the cap. If you are a psychologist as your name implies, you won't face a cap issue.

2. As long as the funds are really yours you are fine.

3. No, depending on the number of hours you worked it will be proportional. A year of half-time employment would count as half a year. Note that you need a minimum of one full year of continuous full time experience in an eligible NOC to be eligible for the program.

Good luck.

[size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt]Not sure what to do, please advice guys!*

I just got an email from CIO office in INDIA that they have got my PER ready, I just need to pay US$500 postage, packaging and handling fees to get my PER and file delivered to my local Visa Office.

Moreover, they have asked me to email a new payment authorization form with full credit card details and my address to INDIA!

Guys, pls understand. This is a derogatory "hate mail" reply to the Jaxon joke just to demean him by mentioning INDIA. Nothing else. this userID has been created just yesterday and this is the first post from this ID.

Apologies in advance for a redundant and repetitive question but I am a little confused about Proof of Funds:

I am made to believe that the funds are checked twice? Once during sending the application (POF from bank). And second during the verification process (don't recollect the exact phase).

My question is am I supposed to maintain this amount throughout the visa pursuing process, or am I allowed to go up and down with this amount regardless of the threshold of (CAD).

The reason I ask this is cause I am in South Africa but originally an Indian Citizen. I earn in ZAR and plan to show this right now and transfer the money after applying initially due to requirements back home. Can I build it up again in the next 2-3 months in ZAR? or would the seniors in this forum suggest I show the funds in INR where I can maintain that amount through and through.

POINT TO NOTE: I am applying in Pretoria (SA), so not sure if INR POF would be accepted?

Twisted confusion sorry! :(

Appreciate any help.

They'll check it a third time, upon landing.

It is not a problem to use your money. They know you may need it. But I suggest not to have any huge swings or any movements of money that it would be difficult or embarrassing to explain. I suggest you not tie it up in something illiquid that you may not be able to undo. Be conservative and anticipate problems. You'll be fine.

Thanks for the reply. You're right about being conservative and anticipating problems. Two thumbs up for that statement.

Can I show my Indian funds and send my application to Pretoria, South Africa (showing I am here on Work Permit?)

( Someone Please tell me where is the [Good] button to +1, I cannot find it!!!)

Hi Senoirs,

I send my application now the I need the money back because of family needs,
How the CIC/VO do the checks on POF, whether they call the bank or they will ask us the bank statement.
till now I have not seen any one asked for latest bank statement along with PCC/MR
Please suggest, I have shown the fixed deposit for my POF.

Hi Guys ,

Is anyone from 14th MAy is still waiting for MR or i am the only one ? I am still not sure why i am still waiting and people after me get some communication from NDVO.

Regards
N

Hello - could someone kindly assist me with information on an employment letter. I am intending to use work experience from a past employer. The company closed down, and I cannot get a reference letter anymore. I do have an appointment letter; however, it does not state my duties. What can I do in this case?

Please please assist, as you know that every point is crucial in the application process.

Thank you,

P.

No. April 30, 2015. A poorly worded CIC site and a news release from a lawyer who likes to pretend he's an official source have confused people. However the official Ministerial Instructions to CIC state April 30, 2015, and this was confirmed by the Minister in his recent Twitter chat.
