Finally my application is completed. I just want to confirm that our passports second page requires thumb impression or signature. For my 2 years old son what shall i do as children thumb impressions keep on changing with the passage of time?

Thanks for your reply. But are you sure that gifts are considered legitimate for settlement funds for Canada? Should I send this affidavit along with my application?

Also, do you have any canadian immigration site links which talks about gift deeds and their acceptance by review officers?

As long as the money is yours and acquired honestly it doesn't matter how you got them.

we can conclude that completeness check has been done until 24th july applicants 2 weeks back (as we had returned application of member who applied on july 24th), as per my reckoning, the completeness check may be on for aug 10-aug 17 applicants.

i believe tht noc updates are based upon number of complete applications received and not PER, coz the website states that "the number of completed applications received are just an estimate"

therefore, process may be: 1st conduct completeness check (which takes approx 70 days), update the noc, charge the applicant (approx 85 days), issue the PER(approx 100-105 days, depending upon mode of payment) and rest follows.

again its just as per my understanding, I may be wrong, kindly share your views too

C-check is guaranteed to be done in 10-12 w (up to 84 days) as per CSU reply. Charging takes place on ~110 day and PER on ~120 day.

2 Yr son thumb impressions are good. Just confirm which hand for males(Right or left)

I just got an email from CIO office in INDIA that they have got my PER ready, I just need to pay US$500 postage, packaging and handling fees to get my PER and file delivered to my local Visa Office.

Moreover, they have asked me to email a new payment authorization form with full credit card details and my address to INDIA![/size][/size][/size][/size]

Send them an extra $200 and maybe they'll find you a job in Canada too.

I Understand your and some members concern regarding this joke, but pls do not take this seriously as his intention was not to hurt anyone's feelings.
In fact wasn't it good on Jaxon's part to come ahead and take the brunt which was directed at Future_canadian for no reason ?

They will send you MR after bg-check. In the meantime they decided to start sec-check which can't be done w/o your PCCs.

i dont see any other applicant getting ONLY pcc call....they give MR along with PCC........i dont know if it is normal. or may be me and my spouse are of different nationalities and we had an extensive travelling history?

Ahmed, this was already answered, where many members had mentioned that self declared letters will not be considered by CIC.
You can get letters from ex seniors on plain paper mentioning job duties, Salary, work hours and timings, joining and relieving dates, etc.
