I always read the posts, but its the first time i post something there.
Im from Dominican Republic and a 9-July-2014 applicant.
The only proof that i have about the received date is the one from UPS.

Haven´t receive anything from CIC yet....

APP RECEIVED 9 JULY

Im reading, that they are charging app sent by the end of June right now... how much days it takes to review one day of applications?

Willing to share great news which my Consultant gave me few minutes back that I GOT THE PER.

Application Date :- 24-06-2014
NOC :- 2173
Payment Mode :- DD
DD Encash Date :- 10-10-2014

PER Received :- 20-10-2014

Thanks to almighty God and Wish a Good luck to all wonderful people here who are wonderfully helping each other.

Congratulations. You're one of few lucky people, who got PER even early with DD as your payment mode, otherwise DD apps are generally slightly delayed compared to CC apps.

Make sure you get copy of that email and UCI from your consultant before he/she start asking for more money!

They don't explicitly say that you have to be in a sexual relationship because they aren't going to ask anyone to prove that.

But that is what they mean. Only an actual couple--in love, committed, sharing the burdens and joys of life the way a couple does, and yes sexually exclusive--can apply as common-law partners.

You are NOT common-law partners. Common-law partners are sexual partners and present themselves as a romantic couple. Having a roommate is not having a common-law partner.

You cannot be a dependant on your friend's application, nor can he be a dependant on yours.
