Hi,
My husband got his passport reissued as was getting expired after we sent our application.
We have received PER, do we need to update the details with local VO or they will get the details themselves.

If yes, how can we update these details?

I got PER on 1st of October and on 2nd October I raised CSE to add my new born in app
And after 20 days I got reply from ndvo for the same

Main content of reply is :

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.



To advise us of a change to your family composition, please send us a signed letter (the letter may be scanned and sent as an email attachment) providing us with all required changes to your file. The following information must be included in the letter if we are to make the changes:

- full name,
- date of birth,
- file number [Letter followed by a nine-digit number],
- telephone number, including area code,
- fax number, including area code, and
- mailing address

As we require your signature on this information, please note that your current family composition has not been amended in our records.

How to add your child to your application:



You will be required to submit the following documents in order to add your child to your application:

- a letter explaining how your family composition has changed and requesting that your child be added to your application
- processing fee for the child (if accompanying you to Canada)
- updated IMM0008 Generic Application Form and updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form for yourself and your spouse to include added child
- If the child is 18 years or older, an IMM0008, Schedule A and IMM5406 Additional Family Information Form
- notarized copy of the child's birth certificate
- copy of your child's valid passport(s) both valid and expired
- four recent passport-size photographs of your child according to the specifications
- if you applied as a Skilled Worker - updated proof of funds for number of family members to now include added child
- a “Certificat de Sélection du Québec” for your child ( in his or her name), if you are immigrating to the province of Québec (http://www.micc.gouv.qc.ca/fr/index.asp)

Copies of the original documents with original certified translations into English or French are required.

Not sure what to do, please advice guys!*

I got an email from CIO office in Nigeria that they have got my PER ready, I just need to pay US$200 postage, packaging and handling fees to get my PER and file delivered to my local Visa Office. 8)

Moreover, they have asked me to email a new payment authorization form with full credit card details and my address! ;D ;D

Hello everyone,

Just wondering if we can claim work experience points if we have valid exp under two noc.. Like my main noc is 0111 and my prior experience is under noc 1114... Would I be still awarded points for both or just for experience under NOC 0111?

All experience at skill type 0 or skill level A or B. You would get credit for both.

I believe you can only have ONE NOC per application, and under such application, can only claim points for experience under that category.

Not true. Do not give out incorrect information. You may harm someone's application.

One NOC per application, and points for any experience in ANY NOC at skill type 0 or skill level A or B, even NOCs not themselves eligible for FSW.
