Okay in my case it does not seems to suspicious..
sum amount is in FDR which is more more than 18 months old. and rest is in savings account in which i have maintained the balance from 3 years

Last week me and Ashif bhai almost at the same time received -3 and this week also almost same time got another -3. I can't remember from when this -3 has started.

Seems like someone is very very unhappy with both of us and opened 3 accounts to pound us with -3 every week. : : :

It would be better if that person inform us the reason behind his frustration - we could have rectified ourselves.

I got email from CIC stating I need to submit my Medicals, PCC and FBI Clearance.

it does not mention any US state level PCC, even if it is not mentioned do I still need to submit the PCC of those two US states I had resided.

I am getting my FBI Clearance by next week, but still did not apply for state PCC.

No need for state Pcc

Unless otherwise ur Visa office requested for state PCC then only FBI report is enough for the PCC......

What I can suggest u to submit ur updated FBI report in order to avoid any further req/delay in future (if u have not submitted none of this...)

Someone on whatsapp group shared a precaution for all Medical test aspirants to avoid Drinking and Smoking for couple of days before medical. Not sure if it will have any impact, but thought of sharing it with others.

Anyone has an idea, what impact it has on Medicals? As far as my knowledge is concerned, Medical is not for general health conditions but mainly to check for contagious diseases (eradicated from Canada) and very sever health conditions which can put extra ordinary burden on health system. Any comments?

Smoking increases your Blood Pressure, if it is more than 140/90 at the time of examination - you would be subject to unnecessary additional exams such as ECG, TMT and 2D echo etc. in that order to determine if there is any damage to heart tissue. Serum Creatinine might also be done to check Kidney damage due to high BP. They want to determine potential progression of the diesease in case some damage is present already.

Drinking increase your liver enzymes (ALT, GGT, AST etc.), Elevated liver enzymes might necessiate additional exams such as Hep A, B, C etc. Though I understand they check for elevated enzymes only if they suspect hepatitis risk (I think some forms are contagious).

The progression of any of these potential dieseases would put a burden on Canadian healthcare in future as these develop slowly over period of time.

Better to keep them under control to avoid furtherance of the tests, which will delay your process. In addition, like one recent example - A greedy doc might see an opportunity to make more money by additional tests too..

I am in a small problem, I am about to get a reference letter from our manager but the letter head he has is of a JOINT VENTURE. we are working on a project which is executed in joint venture and the contact details at the bottom of the letter head is of the other company and not our company.

Is it okey to have it printed on such letter head??

As only the skilled workers who have applied via Quebec Skilled worker programs are allowed to work & settled down in quebec.

may sound strange but I am also getting -3 in batches since last 3 weeks.

I have talked with my credit card issuing bank, they said (1) my credit card is very much have international credit credit transaction facility activated and (2) the amount of transaction too is very much is in credit limit, however if its something related to first transaction (>USD 500), he couldn't comment on same as its would entirely depend on automated approval of the system (?) and I can contact them if such transaction is denied (?) ... They said in such anticipated situation (when both 1 & 2 are there) they could only act in event of denial...

I otherwise have used my other card for international transaction and that was having less fee too for same but it could be expired when this probable transaction in future so I used this card which was never used before for an international transaction.

SO I JUST FOUND IT APPROPRIATE to ask here if anyone who had done first international transaction as payment to CIC for an FSW application, got successful in same?

after long time has passed since this there are limits on debit cards and credit cards .....although may not be 500 usd

also you have to specifically activate international usage which earlier i think was not there .....
