Hi all,

I have a question for all forum members.
when you check ur application status on line, there r 3 options at the end of the page:
applications for pr sent from outside canada
Applications for pr sent from within canada
applications sent to cio office nova scotia

does anyone know which one of it is applicable to me?I have sent my application from India to cio nova scotia via courier service.
whether is it considered outside canada or cio office option?
I am asking this as when u click on each link the timeline is slightly variable.
Does it mean online application versus couriered one?

Kindly answer.

Also I have recd per but my status on ecas is still in process only.

Thanks

[size=10pt]Hello Everyone,

This forum has been wonderful source information, I have one problem now please suggest what to do ?

I have got Medical Request from Delhi embassy and I have medical check-up appointment with doctor tomorrow i.e on 21/10/2014. But the problem is Yesterday only I have got good news that my wife is pregnant through machine test, I think it is less than a month. Now Do I need to tell at the Medical check-up about my wife being pregnant , If I tell that will my processing be stopped till I get baby? or If I don't tell about the pregnancy the tests which are going to conduct might affect the mother's womb.

I do not want any adverse effect to my baby at the same time , I do not want any delay in processing. Please please please suggest what to do?

Thanks bunny.

@vamshi:
I dont think there is any need to hide abt the pregnancy. They will anyway find out.
I also dont think it will affect ur processing in anyway. I believe u can add the details of ur child after birth in case if u r still in the country. It wouldnt b a problem if u have already moved to canada before ur wife delivers.
however seniors members kindly advise in detail.

Please help... Has anyone tried sending an application twice? My DD hasn't been charged yet (may 30 applicant). No responses to inquiries from CIO yet.

I'm planning my luck to re-send an application by end of October. Please help. Thanks

You can send another application package if you want and if you have all the required documents. But before resending, check what might had go wrong with your first package to avoid the same mistakes (if there were any mistake).

@ Diplomitru
@ CanadianLov3

The time taken in ECA could be an important reason for the discrepancy but what abt those Chinese who applied last year (with ECA) and have their files returned due to CAP.

One of the major reason, is
1. Goolgle docs (which hosts the SS) and other google products are banned inside China. The forum only represents 30-35% of total, large proportion of not represented candidates is from China.

2. China has similar forums in their own language, with high level of participation and China specific info

3. Yes, China is main source of immigration to Canada but no where it says for FSWP. Actually, Chinese have other sources of immigration options, which they can afford more than others such as (a) Student visa and then immigration through CEC, (b) business immigration under PNP, and (c) now closed Entrepreneurship immigration.

CanadianLov3 said:
I heard from somewhere, Chinese applicants are facing lots of problems in their ECA, since their China Higher Education Student Information & Career Center (CHESICC) is taking 3-4 months in verifying only due to very a high volume of applications. Meaning 3-4 months + their ECA time.
Also people say, the application volume will increase In Mid November, since chinese and other nations will be through with their ECA and PCC's.

You can defer the test if you want - it is not an serious issue. Pls look into the page 11 of (http://www. cic. gc. ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/handbook-extract.pdf)

Also note below:
http://immigrationmedical.ca/Pregnant-Canadian-exam.html
Pregnancy and the immigration medical exam

Canadian Immigration requires that all adult applicants, without exception, have a chest X-ray at some stage. This is a part of the tuberculosis control program. If you are pregnant and are concerned about having an X-ray, you have a few options:

You can have the X-ray now, with a special protective shield covering your abdomen. This protects your baby from radiation. (This is probably safe but no guarantee can be given. Consult your own doctor for advice)

You can do the other parts of your medical examination now and have the X-ray after the birth of your baby. However, your medical report will not be submitted to CIC until the X-ray examination is completed.

You can postpone the whole examination until after the birth of your baby.

Nobody from FSW 2014 has reported PPR thus far NDVO.
I suppose they also have to send PPR for many FSW 2013 Applicants (later ones) as well who have passed MR stage.

Neel , technically when they should send ppr request if medical is received by them and rprf is encashes , senior says within 2 months or it should less than that
