inn you BC city would have mentioned?

Hi, my BC just says Saudi Arabia and no mention of the city

Dears. Any one have an answer for the below

Dear All. when i submitted my application I have written the city of Birth as Dammam, although my actual city of birth is Khubar. Those living in KSA know that both cities are adjacent and people usually refer to them as one (Dammam/Khubar). None of the documents submitted states this. all my documents has place of birth written as "Saudi Arabia" only.

I am thinking of updating this after I get PER and my file transfer to the VO. Do you think this is going to cause an issue?

Place of birth is not critical to the assessment as long as DOB and Parent's name are clearly listed. Know this that CIC accepts High School certificates backed by an Affidavit as proof of birth (in most cases) and the HSC certs do not normally have the candidate's place of birth. It is however pointed out in the affidavit by the applicant, but they are self-sworn, hence, it indicates that 'Place of Birth' is not a critical attribute.

Good luck!

Visiting any country does not affect your FSW process. If your VO is NDVO - you will most likely not receive an AOR notification as NDVO is not doing that this year.

You can continue to check your ECAS status to find out whether your file has been transferred or not.

Chances are you would have spent less than 6 months in the US before receiving a PCC/MR/RPRF request from NDVO at which point you can send an updated version of the Supplementary travels form.

Good luck!

Thanks a lott for your reply, i have a doubt that if iam going to stay less than six months then i dont need to send additional travel info.right ?

and what if a do a job there i mean if i change job does it effect the process.

Even if you stay for less than 6 months you DO have to send an updated supplementary travels from to the VO. However, you will not be required to send a PCC from the US.

Also, if you change or employment, you should update the VO accordingly.

You need to send an updated version of the following:

- Generic Form (Updated dependent section)
- Additional Dependents Form (Updated dependent section)
- Bank Statement for POF
- 6 Photographs for your Child
- Schedule 3 (updated settlement funds)

Please go through the Document Checklist thoroughly in case I have missed any documents above.

And - Congratulations :) !
