I got -4 for telling people to maintain manners..... I am not bothered about -1s, but God save their timid attitude...... don't have the guts to reason and win, just express their inability in this manner.

Please help, I am starting to panic.

I have submitted my application aleady, NOC 0113.

Did I need to submit any kind of certificate (like doctors/nurses do) equivalent to purchasing managers in canada? Does anyone know?
Please help.

I need help urgent!
Long story me and husband both applied under NOC 1111 and NOC 0113 respectively. Payments were to be made through same CC. Right before Eid holidays started here in pakistan, one payment was charged on oct 3. They tried to charge other payment on 6th, 8th and 9th but there wasn't enough money left on card. Now my husband has received per. So we thought it why should we pay two separate fees.
Now my husbands brother is saying we should email them and ask them to charge the other payment too because they are rejecting a lot of Pakistanis for no reason. How should we contact them to request them to somehow charge the other payment? Please help urgently.

The second application is on it's way back already. They make three attempts on the CC, not more.

Guys,

Small suggestion for you, few of you may know about it.

If anyone of you get Passport request. You can also use VFS Passport transmission services.

http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/india/.

It will easy for you to track your passport movment. Check link above for reference.

MR.NRI16 thanks a lot for your wishes and kind response. My file is also transferred to NDVO. Hoping for the best asap.

One more question if you can guide... I have given company brochure as a proof for references containing no of various branches and Officials including our MDs. Now the official GM & BD Head left company months back and there ids and cells are not reachable. Can i change the reference now or need to leave it to fate.

Pls suggest.

Dont worry...if they want to do verification, they will find all details from from website or other means....relax and pray ...your first +1

PER Received just now :)

Application received: 19th June
Payment mode: DD
NOC:1111
DD encashed date as per PER: 8th Oct :D

facts about my application:

1) Stapled each form
2) included 1 year 3 months exp of articleship (Total articleship 3.5 years, however managed to get reference letter of just last articleship) (Duties were matching 70 to 80%)
3) 8 Months in Company A(Duties were matching 70 to 80%)
4) 2.5 years in company B( Duties were matching 50 %)

Self calculated points: 70
out of which 13 is of experience

Now, what is the possibility from above, they have considered either articleship experience or experience in Company B.
Other possibility is that they have considered both experience.

SS already updated

Have you submitted ECA?

Yes, I have. Is that the only thing required then?

Karma action is not allowed in your regards at this time. But be sure there's a +1 pending from me, because you are one of the few people who's nickname corresponds with what they really are.

Thank you very much Diplomatru. That is one the best compliment I ever received. You made my day :)

Hi to all,

I have inquiry my husband NOC 4011 gets a new contract yearly, he has 5 years working at the university as culinary arts professor. From the 5 years his worked 1.5 years as full time (40 hours weekly), 2 years as part time (20 hours weekly) and 1 year by classes taught (hours depending on amount of classes assigned to him).

How will CIC count the years of experience?
How much do yo guys think will be the years of experience he will get?
He has also worked 3 years as a chef, will they count those 3 years as experience?
The restaurant he worked as chef closed, so they wont be able to give him a reference letter with letterhead. How can these reference letter be done? Do we have to notarize it?

Thanks!!!

I'm not sure exactly how much credit he will receive, but I think 1.5 years for the 1.5 years full time, 1 year for the 2 years half time (but perhaps 16 months for this, because typically 30 hours is considered full time and 20 hours would be 2/3 of this amount) and between half a year and 1 year for the year that depended on classes taught. Any way you slice it, this probably amounts to 11 points on the FSW application for 2-3 years of experience. To get 13 points he would have to get credit for a full 4 years which seems unlikely here. Please note that to get credit for the different time periods, make sure the reference letter is very specific about the working hours during each different time period so CIC will not have any doubt or difficulty calculating it.

[This portion deleted as it was incorrect.]

Good luck.
