I got report from WES under FSW last year in May. But this year when I applied for FSWP CIC sent an email WES that CIC is not able to confirm online. they do confirm online each and every report. But they do not reject application in case its not able to confirm. You need to order duplicate which cost you more and WES send report to CIC and make it able online and send copy to you.

My report was for FSWP and still was not able to confirm online. I did not go through the reasoning with WES and just paid more. CC charged and waiting for PER.
so do u got any email from cic or wes regarding this?

Please check the highlighted line in the reply above, it says we should not use the e-mail to send additional documents, is this the standard reply for members who have successfully added additional documents to their application?

On a positive note, I understand it to mean that we cannot send the additional documents to the e-mail, instead of mailing the hard copies. I have sent the actual documents through UPS and sent a soft copy of the docs with tracking number to this mail ID <CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca>

Seniors in this aspect, please confirm my understanding. Thank you.
Yes Anitha its a standard response

Hi everyone

spreadsheet shows 168 applicants have applied under 2281 and 39 applicants have got PER whilst CIC TABLE shows 242 applicants have got their PER ...I think it simply demonstrates that spreadsheet shows only 1/6.2 applicants under 2281 ....in other words we can calculate 168*6.2=1041 applicants have sent their package ...

AGREE OR DISAGREE ?

I'm under a lotttt of stress ..plz help me to decide

I am going to send my application in 7 days ( end of October) under 2281 ( computer network technician) ....since 242 applicants have applied till 9th June ....it seems risky ....do u think its better and wise ..to go and insist even plead to get experience letter from old employers under 2172 which has 73 applicants?

or now which 2174 has reached its cap ....remaining applicant try to apply under 2173 and 2172 ...and the growing rate of 2172 will speed up ? on the other hand after several years 2014 was the first year for 2281 ..and it also has huge number of applicants?

I received email from WES stating that CIC is not able to verify ECA online. due to it was not selected FSWP. but actualy my original report was for FSWP but it was showing WES Basic. and I ordered duplicate as instructed in email , costed me 160 dollars. But even duplicate showing WES Basic. then I sent an email to WES to double check that now CIC will be able to confirm online. and they replied back in 6 days saying that report is FSWP purpose and CIC can veryfy online and they posted copy to CIC.
No communication from CIC about anything.

Thanks for taking the initiative, want to understand on job prospects for new comers in Canada. Have heard a lot about Canadian Experience is that a truth or just a myth and job search only depends on a persons credentials...

First of all, Thank you for your intentions.

Though I have not yet received my Medical Request, I am still optimistic that I will receive it soon.

I am a Software Developer and my husband is in Export/Import and Logistics field.

Could you suggest which place from Calgary or Toronto is a better for us to start a life in Canada. I am currently in USA on Work Visa.

Thanks Again.

Not from NY, but applied at Atlanta Consulate. Got in exactly a week. I applied and collected PCC in person.

It all depends on your job letter, be careful since every NOC has a very specific set of functions, and it is not likely that a single letter would cover several NOCs, If you letter matches NOC description for 2172, go for it, otherwise just stick to what you letter permit you to do.

hope that all of us recieve medicals soon
Currently job market for software developers is quiet slow in Canada
Vancouver BC and Toronto are the hotspots for ur field Ur husband should also have good prospects in these two cities
But being premier cities they tend to be pricy in comparision to others
Hope it answers ur question
