Need urgent help:

Our document delivered at NS on July 14th. After a month my husband has changed his passport. He has made his new passport as his old passport has expired. But we haven't informed anything at CIC. Do we need to inform and send notarized copy of his new passport? please reply soon.

Hi my application is received on May 26th under the NOC 2171 from Toronto. Till now My CC is not charged. I checked in ECAS, it shows no file found. Does anyone have the same situation. I have sent a mail to CIC on Sep 18th and there no reply till now. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

You can also try their Customer Service Number. Inside Canada: 1-888-242‑2100
Outside Canada: 1-613-944-4000

They do take a while to respond to e-mails.

Not yet. I received PER e-mail on September 24th.. No updates since then. On the SS it seems the last date who received Medical request from CPC-Ottawa is 5/20/2014 or 5/22/2014.

Yes. It is possible.

"Applications per eligible occupation:

As of May 1, 2014, there is an overall cap of 25,500 for new federal skilled worker applications. This includes a cap of 500 applications from PhD students. There are also sub-caps of 1,000 for each of the 50 eligible occupations. The caps do not affect people with a valid job offer. These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015."
