Hello friends... i don't see any CC or DD Charged / PER mail received after 10th Oct in SS. is CIC on holiday???

Regarding the Marital Status for Question No:13 in Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008).

Help required please !!!

I am married and my marriage is registered legally and now I am no longer living with my wife and I haven't applied for divorce as well. In this case what shall I put my marital status as and what documents do I need to provide to CIC along with my application. If I put my status as married I can not provide my wife's documents. Can I mention it as legally separated and if so what documents are needed to support this status.

also, you can note down that if your passport issue date is within 1 year from application PSK will issue PCC at time of appointment...that is very good procedure adopted by indian PSK

This one varies from one PSK to another. I got my PCC from Delhi PSK the same day even though my passport was issued in 2006 whereas PSKs in some other states seem to follow this rule wherein you get PCC the same day only if your passport is issued within 1 yr of application.

Guys,

This staple thing is giving me a reason to worry.

What i remember is that i didn't staple any of the forms but yes what i can recall is that i might have stapled the bank's account statement and may be the pay stubs.

Going through this forum i was confident that things will go fine but no i guess i have a reason to worry. Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best.

Now worried till the time I hear something positive from CIC.

Wish me luck with this.

Thanks,

dont worry about the staple thing it wont hamper your application in any way

Dear All,
Did any one email London visa office with additional documents?
I received acknowledgement and bounce back message one after the other...what could it mean..shall I consider it delivered or bounced message?

Thanks

Yes I did send the tracking sheet long with other documents.
There's one thing I am not sure might have caused the delay. Actually my wife was expecting that time and we didn't get her X-ray done as the docs advised us. But unfortunately she had a miscarriage last week and now I have informed the Visa office about the same on Sunday night, and asked them if we should get the X-ray done now? Though I haven't heard form them yet. Do you think this might have held u the things?

Sad news.....
Dnt know what i can say ...
As you have informed ndvo about this...you should wait for their reply...they will sent you medical request soon...

Sorry to hear that bro.

legally separated would only be considered when you have some judgement in hand, since you haven't filed for divorce then legally separated will not be a right term to use and fill in the form.

It will be better to consult a lawyer/consultant who has handled such immi. cases.

No, even some of 7th, 8th may applicants didn't get the medical yet. I am also 14th may applicant but my ECAS got updated on 10th oct. I think it might take another 20-25 days for me to get medical request.

Thanks
