I was on the same boat. Took 3 tests and always end up with 6.5 on one or another for writing and speaking.

For Express Entry, as long as if you have high score in total combining other factors, I hope it would be fine. I did apply for FSW14 but just trying my luck as this is the first time I am applying. Lets see what we will get with EE. Anyway, it is just 2 more months to go.

I was just reading Australia's requirements yesterday and there is a slight difference with your statement. 7 is the minimum IELTS score requiered in each band to obtain points, but, if you score 6 in each band you can still apply. Of course, without points for language it is very difficult to reach the minimum pass mark unless you have a job offer or you have work/study experience in Australia.

My score is similar to yours (S 6.5, L 8.5, R 7.0, W 7.0), so i face the same problem, but i still keep my hopes up for FSW.

Just observed that 2174 cap is full. I was June 5 applicant. My DD never charged nor I got rejection letter of file. Dont know whats going on at CIC..

Hello Cacthinu1,

There are two possibilities:
- Your DD is going to be charged yet, and you are on the line to get a PER; CIC probably didn't gave out all the PERs related to the 2174 yet;
- Your application was judged not to be complete, and it was returned to you by snail mail. It may take a while (I think I read up to 60 days by other forumite) for the documents to be sent back to you. They don't give any warnings by e-mail.

You should probably send them an e-mail to ask about your file. It takes 30 business days but it may be faster than the files getting to you.

Because the SS only reflects a very small percentage of the actual number of FSWP applicants from all around the world. The SS may have also underestimated even when adjusting for the unreported applicants.
OK thanks, that makes sense....I severely underestimated how many people avail of this great forum and the knowledgable people here. The so-called attorneys/consultants suck all they care about is getting you to sign up whether or not you have a chance because that is how they make money.

Hi friends,

You really such knowledgeable people. I liked to join the forum because of your positivity in answering and helping each other.

I would to know how the physical immigration file to be sent to CIC should look like? Should it be a binder file with separators between each section and the other? or it just has to be all documents ordered as per the document checklist and kept in one envelope?

Also, should the application form or document of multiple pages be stapled?

Thanks,,

You should send all the documents in an envelope, ordered per the checklist, and they should be left unbound - not stapled. A paperclick is fine, but otherwise no staples.

Dont staple anything. However based on the checklist it says u can use a paper clip on small items like the photos. What i did was to use a cover sheet and separate each section that way. I also itemized the documents on the cover sheet for each section so it would make my reviewer's life easier. I only used the paper clips for my photos.

What if I already submitted my file and it has been received at July 29th, but I stabled each and every multiple page application and document and kept them in a binder file with separators labeled by the section name as per the document checklist? Is it such a serious error that could let the file returned or rejected?

There was one PER issued today ... so I'm really not sure if they were closed, or operating part time... or if the e-mail took 3 days to arrive.

Not a problem. I stapled but i got per. They will not be so indifferent that they will eeject a package where the applicant wanred to seggregate the documents for their ease. Do not worry
