What's the problem with your name brother? I like your name very much. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

Hi guys

According to my understanding we have to fill Generic Form (IMM 0008) online and validate it. I tried to fill rest of the forms in soft copies as well and then take the print out but on some places, space was so less that I was allowed to write the full information.

Can I print out the forms (except IMM 0008) and then fill them in small writing with a pen?
Will CIC accept those hand filled forms?

Thanks in advance

Regards

Typing recommended.

Whats the point in sending without knowing what was wrong with the previous application. I would rather wait to see either a cap update or application return to send another application. Do you see any potential miss in your application which you are realizing now?
Oh, a lot of misses,
1:my son's birth certificate is in my native language and English line by line. but the names on it are only in my native language, and i didn't attach a notarized translation.
2:for all the documents in my native language, i only sent printed photo copies of notarization, not original notarization.
3:in education background, in only put number of years for primary study, secondary study and college study, for apprentice i left it blank instead of filling 0.
4:company reference letter listed my duties too simple, it's hard to convince CIC that i qualify for 2133.
not even sure if i can push though completeness check.

Thanks for the swift reply.
Can I add extra word document with each form containing information written in details as forms don't have enough space for some of the answers and have to write abbreviations? For e.g. there is not enough space for one of the designations ( Financial Analyst) I held in past, hence used abbreviation.

Regards

Have you tried inputting 'Financial Analyst' in the forms. They would fit in the text boxes. If not, you can abbreviate like 'Fin. Analyst'.

CIC is aware of all the designations by matching it with your 'intended occupation'. Please fill in the forms on the computer and in my opinion, I don't think you'll have any issues by overflow of words.

Important Note: Always fill in the forms online (make sure you are connected to internet) and save them once you are done. This way you'll always have latest forms available from the CIC website. Hope this helps....

Cheers and best of luck..

For giving +1 you need to click good below my name. Hope you have done that.

Thank you.

Folks

In my Marriage certificate My wife's name is Jasmeet Kaur while in her pass port and all her documents it is Jasmeet Makkar. As you know in India, wofe's second name changes post marriage so is the case with us.

She is applying as a dependent and I am the primary applicant.

What do you suggest us to do - Will an affidavit stating both names belong to the same person who is w/o Amardeep Singh, will work ?

Regards
Amar

The point 2 is enough to get you application rejected without any of the others. Go ahead, be thorough, and fill another application ASAP.

Point 1, is the Original Birth Certificate of your son in english? Who did the translation? If it is original in english, you don't need it notarized.

Oh, that's bad. so the best i can expect is that if my application is not charged based on the charging time line on SS, i should send another application asap?
since waiting for 30 working days for their confirm seem extremely unwise if one wants to make in the cap.

Send a query right now.

If I were you, i would not wait a moment, knowing the above.
Please try to send another application immediately, by rectifying all the above. 2133 still seems ok at this moment, may not cap for few more months. If you can, please send another app ASAP. Regarding your payment mode, you can try a CC this time so that if the first one does go through, you can block this card. If not you are still good. If you think CC is a risk and you can bear the extra cost, go for a demand draft.

Good Luck!!

Good Luck!!
