Hi All

I just finished my medical in Rubi Hall, Pune. Thought of sharing my experience.

We were asked to carry original passport, medical request form, a photograph and photocopy of 1st and last pages of passport.

As soon as we arrived, we were asked to fill in the forms (2 forms)
1. A normal form, where in you need to tick "Yes" or "No" (15-20 basic questions about your medical history.)
2. Another form is to fill your name and other personal details
Took 10 mins to fill a form.

Then we were asked to wait for few minutes to complete the registration process.
After the registration, our photo was taken and then physical examination done.
10 - 15 minutes for this physical examination - During the physical examination, doctor asked us about past medical history, and then checked out BP, height and weight.
Then we went to x-ray department and taken chest x-ray.
Then our blood was taken and asked us to give urine sample.
After that we went for eye check-up. A normal eye test and we were asked to read some alphabets.
Overall, it took 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the formalities.

As per the staff, they check Blood (Hemogram, HIV, and VDRL) Urine, Chest x-ray (mainly to diagnose TB) and ophthalmic exam (eye test). They also told me that they check diabetic
I asked the doctor and receptionist about the result but they said it's confidential but if they find any abnormality, then only they can disclose it.

After all these test, they give us the same medical request form with their seal and doctor's signature. They asked me to send it to VO and the report would go from hospital within 3 days.
Could you please explain what kind of medical history they ask for?
Do they also ask about the health issues we faced in the past but now fully recovered from them?

Thanks

Yes, you can get additional TRF. You need to fill the request form and then provide the proof that you had send the original TRF to Canada.

You'll get in 2-3 weeks (BC timings, not sure about IDP).
I have taken IELTS with BC. I have contacted them for second TRF and they are saying that only if CIC send a mail that application is in process they will issue a second TRF otherwise we need to wait till we receive the application package from from CIC and if we don't receive one we need to file an FIR with police and get non traceable certificate from the police that is I have been told by the BC.

Hi guys

According to my understanding we have to fill Generic Form (IMM 0008) online and validate it. I tried to fill rest of the forms in soft copies as well and then take the print out but on some places, space was so less that I was allowed to write the full information.

Can I print out the forms (except IMM 0008) and then fill them in small writing with a pen?
Will CIC accept those hand written forms?

Thanks in advance

Regards

Hi Guys,

I have a tricky situation here. I have just noticed a goof up :( :(
My 1st reference letter says, my exp is from 2009-2013(conveying my duties) but by mistake in the first para its written something like this --- was employed at XYZ from 09-2009- to 03-2014. By mistake it is 2014 which should be 2013.
and then in 2nd reference letter again, 03-2014 till date where it should be 03-2013.
Now i m not getting what to do, i have sent my joining letter of 2nd organization where it says that i am in it since 03-2013.
I am really scared as to how it will be perceived. Kindly give suggestions what can be done. I am august applicant.

Second TRF is fairly simple if you have applied through IDP. But, if it is British Council, then it is very tough.

For IDP, you need to tell them that you applied for FSW and show them photo copy of your application and courier pod along with second TRF application with the fee, they will oblige readily.

With BC, you have to fight a long battle. I am doing that currently, will let you know if I succeed. Hope others can suggest their experience.

Thank you.

How did you apply for a second TRF from BC. I mean in which way 1) lost the original one or 2) application under process.

friends

I tried calling cic @ 1-800-242-2100 but it rang for 10 times and got disconnected. I tried multiple times today but it was same
Did anyone experience this?

Thanks

Hi Hardik,

As far as I know I haven't heard of any authorized translators, but surely they can get a translated copy as well as get them authenticated however they can.

I mean if they can manage to get a translated copy from the related government office then they can get it done, else they will guide you to get a translated version of the copy and Notarize the copy for its authenticity.

Hi D_App,

Are those the ones near court are authorized to do this? are there any requirement for authorized translators? Mine is not issued from Baroda municipality, will they still do that?
