I m worried my cc will not allow the transaction as my bank introduced a mechanism that require a password and username for online transaction .is it the same situation for you ?
Appreciate any details you can share

As far as I understand, CC will not have any issues with this mechanism as the Card would be virtually swiped (CC No. entered on to the EDC machine and request the banker for authorization code manually). i.e., its not an online transaction. Userid & password would apply mostly in Online banking transactions.

Senior's can enlighten more on this issue.

Well ,this was my thinking as well.but could anyone confirm that even with security service that requires username and password for online transaction, thrir cc got charged by cic without problems ???
I m really becoming nervous and thinking to send additional fee payment firm with DD this time. Ss my file is in cio since October 2nd only.
is it ok or ism over stressed? ?

Hi All

I just finished my medical in Rubi Hall, Pune. Thought of sharing my experience.

We were asked to carry original passport, medical request form, a photograph and photocopy of 1st and last pages of passport.

As soon as we arrived, we were asked to fill in the forms (2 forms)
1. A normal form, where in you need to tick "Yes" or "No" (15-20 basic questions about your medical history.)
2. Another form is to fill your name and other personal details
Took 10 mins to fill a form.

Then we were asked to wait for few minutes to complete the registration process.
After the registration, our photo was taken and then physical examination done.
10 - 15 minutes for this physical examination - During the physical examination, doctor asked us about past medical history, and then checked out BP, height and weight.
Then we went to x-ray department and taken chest x-ray.
Then our blood was taken and asked us to give urine sample.
After that we went for eye check-up. A normal eye test and we were asked to read some alphabets.
Overall, it took 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the formalities.

As per the staff, they check Blood (Hemogram, HIV, and VDRL) Urine, Chest x-ray (mainly to diagnose TB) and ophthalmic exam (eye test). They also told me that they check diabetic
I asked the doctor and receptionist about the result but they said it's confidential but if they find any abnormality, then only they can disclose it.

After all these test, they give us the same medical request form with their seal and doctor's signature. They asked me to send it to VO and the report would go from hospital within 3 days.

I am waiting to receive my IELTS score card which is in the application package returned by CIC. Can I alternatively apply for a second IELTS TRF.

Yes, you can get additional TRF. You need to fill the request form and then provide the proof that you had send the original TRF to Canada.

You'll get in 2-3 weeks (BC timings, not sure about IDP).

I have read in this forum some one mentioning this. They also told me that PSK at hyderabad is very helpful and gave the PCC the same day, even when the address was different. Hope you get lucky too. Why not try and walk in? Nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Yes it is worth attending. They do it in different cities in India. When u register with them they will let you know.

It is sponsored by Canadian Govt and free for all of us. The only condition is they allow only who has received MR. So ur in.
