Sorry to hear that.

Assuming your current employment was more than 1 Year, does your reference letter state anything similar to "Mr XYZ is currently employed with us as Systems Administrator since xx/xx/xxxx".

If the above is true and you included a copy of your latest appraisal letter and/or payslip(s), then I see no reason why the VO would not be satisfied that your present employment is continuous and more than 1 Year.

Irrespective of whether you write "present" or you enter a date in the form, the VO will assess your LOR and the supporting documents to conclude your total tenure in a Company.

Hi friends,

I am new to this forum though I was closely watching all the information for more than a month and the information that you all pass hold good enoughan for a new comer like me.
Kudos for that.

I am from Bangalore and applied under FSW1. Got medical request and RPRF from New Delhi. Done with my medicals.

Now;
What are the things that I should send to VO?
I know that, fees receipt, medical copies and xerox of our passport should go now.
I also read about some cover letter to VO.
What is that cover letter?
What are the infomation should be there in cover letter?
Does anyone have the format?
Also, I am planning to take a DD. So I guess our details should be mentioned in the cover letter...Please tell me if I am correct.

I wish you all very best :)
Reshma G

Sorry Guys n Gals
3 more questions
RPRF DD should be in favor or whom?
Does the fee in Indian rupees or CAD?
Address to send the DD?

Generally encasing DD takes time,still you can send email and check

centeralized-intake-office@cic.gc.ca or you can ask ur friend or relative in canada to call below number

18882422100

specify your given name and last name as per application and dependent names if any.
DOB, passport number, passport issuing and expiry date.

there was not any date in the whole letter except that

how can such a letter doesn't have a date ? how can they know when this has been printed and signed? should be something like: London on 30/4/2014 for example so when they mention to present date, they know what date you are talking about

they may assume that you have this letter since years and you have left this job, how can they make sure !!!

Dear Seniors,

I need your advice urgently because your case and my case are similar and me and my wife finished medical on 08-Oct-2014 but due to my wife pregnancy 3 months, she has not done only Chest X-RAY , the rest all test are already done including blood test+BMI...

I am going to submit all additional documents together with RPRF to Singapore Visa Office personally on 28-OCT-2014, Do i need to submit any documents saying that due to my wife pregnancy she cannot take chest x-ray or etc... or I need to submit any medical form IMM5733E?

Please share your idea or any other similar case you have experience before?

Seniors please let me have your advice too.

Regards,
Myat

According to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/handbook-extract.pdf , it depends on whether you doing through e-medical or though paper-based test.
For e-mediclas:
 An email is sent automatically to CIC stating that the client is pregnant and giving the estimated date of delivery;
 CXR requisition and instructions are generated by eMedical and provided to the client;
 The IME is completed and is put on hold status until the CXR is completed; and
 The IME will be submitted to CIC, along with the CXR results when available.

Pls go through the page 11 of http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/handbook-extract.pdf .

I wrote date of employment from 7/2/2008 to present date
I think they refused (present date) because there is not exact ending date

I dont think you got refused because you wrote to present date.
I am pretty sure we wrote that too. What else can you write when you are still working for that employer?

Anybody????

They dont release information to friends or relatives with out a signed letter of representation, and the number is applicable if one is residing in Canada. So, the only option is to write an email and wait for them to respond.

There was no mention about what date the letter was issued, so in that case present date is vauge. how will cic know how much experience should be accounted 2008 to which 'present date' .

Although i think VO would have asked you to send experience letter with date mentioned.

Well friend/relative can tell them he/she is calling from canada, and he/she is the applicant.

Present date can mean anything without a date to confirm the date of issue....In my opinion it is a tough decision, should have been given a chance to explain.

I second your opinion. It is definitely not because of the "Present Date". In this case, the applicant had to back up the reference letter with other documentation (Payslips, Appraisals, etc). Not sure if he/she did that though!!!
