I have question regarding WES, my husband is sending documents to Wes next week. We have to send University Diploma and University transcripts. They are both in spanish. Do we send both original and translation copies of both documents or do you have to send copies of originals and original translations.

How long does WES take aprox.?

a jump of 222 apps for 2174 in 10 days looks too high. PER's issued in these 10 days cannot be more than 900-1000. and 222 for just one NOC looks too high given historical trends. My guess is... it is more like signalling that no one else should send their application in this NOC as they can now foresee its cap getting reached. Let's not forget that this is a special update..out of usual practice of 1 update per week..... On the contrary a look at NOC by Rcvd date shows 323 apps till 20th June in 2174. This would be close to the 33% proportion in 2013 data sheet ....so fingers crossed

2174 -- CAP update will definitely solve some of the mysteries, whether that was based on CC charged or based on Completeness check but one thing sure that they gave a clear message not to send any application for this NOC.

My take: it's based on the completeness check!!!
Reason: why on earth would they check completeness if they already crossed 1000 applications, they can check 1100-1200 considering 100-200 may get NER or Payment issues.

I'm still hoping it was till 2nd week of July...

We'll get to know very soon... All the very best for folks after 19th jun in this NOC!!!

Yes, I did with the help of PER email & Doc checklist print out. App forms are available online as well as COC office and Appeal form available at COC office.

I agree with you. Let us see of any new 2174 gets charged here after, that will give us the best picture.

Coming back to completeness check, I think July apps must have been done by now. We have seen july 14th app returned. Considering 3-4 weeks return time, guessing they must have complete checking for completeness for All july apps. Probably even 1st week of August.

I dont worry about the cap, more that we made a stupid mistake but I still have hope!
We will know next week if they keep charging applicants for 2174

If you can apply under a different NOC go ahead but I think you are safe

You question is tough one. How can CIO have work because of holiday? That's insane! ;D

If you mean, WILL CIO work on 13th of Oct, then answer is NO. CIO employees are also like normal citizens of Canada, they get holiday when rest of the nation gets it too!

The reason why I asked if they have work on a holiday is because according to this website (http://www.statutoryholidays.com/2014.php), thanksgiving holiday does not include Nova Scotia. If it wasn't because of this info, i would have not asked if they will have work on Oct13
