Hi,

Has anyone tried calling NDVO for case inquiries? I sent email to delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca on monday asking if I could use last year's FBI PCC but haven;t heard back.

I was wondering If I should call them at: 91 (11) 4178-2000
is this the right number? any suggestions?

thanks,
Vishal

Highlighting will make it easier fir revuewing officer to notice the key info. So no harm in doing that.

So means you are not providing jd on letter head?
Good luck
Actually, I am also providing reference letter as a proof of my employment but I am employed in my home firm. My husband is the proprietor so I am thinking of producing some snapshots to proove my employment. What u suggest?

Hey Mate

Can you explain how to order GCMS.

I have my brother in Canada and want to order GCMS. Also can you detail the steps and time frame and what do i do on my behalf because i understand my brother has to order that for me.

Hi everyone,
Just an update: I've received GCMS notes for my application, and even though I've read a lot about CIC procedures, I've found some of the notes fairly interesting and even surprising :)
CIC actually does verify the diplomas and work history via independent channels, such as your country official databases / government portals. So make sure the information you submit is consistent and true!

According to the notes, they've also sent a message to my company's CEO (his email and signature were on one of my work contracts). He rarely responds to emails, unless it's really important, so I wonder if he has noticed that email at all - he has never told me about it :D

Also, I've sent them a question once via the "Case specific enquiry" form - and this fact is also noted in the database :) - though, without the actual question text.

Another interesting fact: GCMS notes request was sent on Sep 8 and the response was received on Oct 9, with notes generated on Sep 10 - it looks as if they just keep the notes for a month before sending them back (maybe to limit the amount of requests or abuse?).

Here is the full timeline. Not sure if the order is similar for other offices (mine is Kyiv), but I hope it can still help:

May 6: Application received at CIO.
May 21: First record for my application in CIC database.
Jun 3: Fee encashed according to CIO.
Jun 6: Fee encashed according to the bank who has issued the draft.
Jul 14: PER.
Jul 29: Application sent to local VO.
Aug 6: Application received at local VO.
Sep 1: Criminality check passed.
Sep 3: Document verification completed.
Sep 3: Medicals request.
Sep 4: Medicals done.
Sep 7: Medicals passed.
Sep 10: "Medicals received" line has appeared in ECAS.
Security checks have not been started as of Sep 10 - they fit somewhere below.
Sep 19: "We started processing your application" line has appeared in ECAS.
Sep 23: RPRF request.
Sep 23: RPRF sent & received electronically.
Sep 23, a few hours later: Passport request.
Sep 23: Passport sent.
Sep 24: Passport received.
Sep 26: Visa issued.
Sep 28: "Decision made" status has appeared in ECAS.
Sep 29: Passport sent back.
Oct 2: Passport with the visa received.

Someone suggested to use worldnetexpress for sending my application..

Anyone else who have used it? Surprisingly they are estimating a 14th delivery while fedex ups are estimating 16th which us good but a surprise..
Plus they are charging almost half of fedex ups.. Are they for real??

Hi, I have sent my application through Worldnetexpress, I think GPO is tied with DHL for this services, I sent my application from India(Hyderabad) on 5th may and it reached Canada Toronto on 7th may but it took 2 more days I.e May 9th for them to deliver it to CIO nova scotia but overall service was good.

Hi

As per my info should should send all the things in one packet. it is advisable. Just in case you dont have any other way and you are really needing to send PCC first. Then do insert a cover letter as first page in your packet mentioning what you did and why.

Correct me seniors if I am wrong.

Palak bhai Any progress on the matter discussed yesterday.?? ;)

And Prateek bhai already hit a home run!!! with medicals

One needs to decide loosing PR opportunity is costlier or sending application is costlier,
whats worth it ? and why taking chances ?

Total received toward the overall cap: 5,040 of 25,000

1112 Financial and investment analysts 741 => best of luck to you in your NOC

4011 University professors and lecturers 86 => my NOC has increasing increments every week. I do hope that my application posted yesterday will be under cap 1000 and 25000.

As per this weeks CAP update I see very few applications were processed.

NOC 2173 - Only 33 when compared to last week(392 to 425)

Hope CIC will speed up the process and reach the target of 50+ application for each NOC.

You should be happy mate as the application count for 2173 is coming down.

This means that between 30th sept and 10th oct they processed 33 applications only as they raciened less.

and also the overall count is around 500 only per week

Any idea on how CIC encashed DD?
I had read the prodedure in forum but was not able to locate it.
thankx

July 7th and July 12 applications were returned, July 12th applicant confirmed that he received the package. Assuming the file was mailed a month back, the completeness check would have been done during the first week of September, the completeness check might have been completed for July...

Who was that?? Really July applicants? Are they on the Sheet?????

hi seniors,

I dont find signature filed in travel document, is it not required to sign the travel document application form.

Do we notarize all the support documents, education documents, BC, FD, payslips, offer letter?
Please suggest..

your Work ex- 15 points (or 13 - conservative) will NOT be a cause of rejection. What about your Total points/ other factors ?
Unless, your Total falls below 67 as per NDVO assessment (on the 'Date of Receiving' Appln) you wont get rejested (from points criteria)

Any reply on this will highly be appreciated.

I am worried as the file now will be verified in the NDVO and they might reject it with the issue i am talking about. Does this makes any sense? or that checking of experience is done in the very first step?
