Sorry to bother you guys but can you please tell me the steps from here on. My CC got charged yesterday. What should I look forward to now? When do I get the MR? When is PCC required. Please guide someone!!

Now wait for your PER first which you will get within month or so. Then your local visa office will contact you for medical and other stuff required.

I have sent my application to CIC in July 14th and i haven't received yet any communication from their part. I wrote an e-mail to the Client Service Unit and i got a reply asking for me file number, DOB or CIC client ID.
Can someone tell me, when should i expect them to contact me, or if there is any any i can get information on my application status?

Looks like this is a never ending waiting period.....

LOL wait for 2 more weeks and you might get some news and If not then add one week more to your waiting period until you receive your PER.!

Xth certificate with your DOB and parents name will do the same job as birth certificate...so dont you worry

You will first get Email from CIC with your UCI and File number.

A small analysis for NDVO guys 8)

NDVO MR processing days till today = 26
Total MR till now = 91

Average MR per day by NDVO = 3.5

Way more, I guess. The SS is not that representative unfortunately.

If your 10th certificate contaIns ur dob, parents name clearly, then this would work. cic accepts it.

Thanks for taking to time to reply riyavisa... No, my Xth certificate doesn't have parent's name and an extreme blunder we realized is that, we have sent a personal cheque instead of Certified cheque. So, please let me know the steps for sending additional documents

We have send our application on July 12 and arrived at NS on July 15, 2014. It's been more than 10 weeks, we haven't got any response from CIC. We have also send mail to CIC several times. But we haven't got reply of the mails. So what should we do now?

Wait 4-6 weeks more.
No use sending emails, only communicate when change in Family, job, address, etc.

Personal Cheque? Please don't get me wrong but your rejection chances are 100% on this.!

I know, it has to be way more.
We all know that the nation wide it would be multiply by 3.

Average per day 3.5 meant, average 3 update in SS.
This is something for someone to calculate their turn based on only SS data.
I hope you got my point.
This SS & this calculation is based on "relative data"

As CIC want me to update information such as (i) New Passport Number, (ii) New Education Certificate, etc...

We need to submit photocopy of UPDATE DOCUMENTS ONLY to High Commission of Canada or do we still need to submit for all old (existing) information because initially we already submitted to CIC? If no need to submit existing documents, I will only submit all new additional update documents to High Commission of Canada ONLY, when I submit Documents (RPRF fees+PCC+MR+IMM0008E+IMM5669E+IMM5406E+4 recent Passport photos). Thanks in advanced. Please share your idea.
